Yes they would be UK versions but PS3 games and peripherals are not region locked so it should work here.

The map seems to be outdated though. Its a lot easier to just look at which frequency your using on your TV.
yeah ive read that whirlpool article and I'm in vic regional so i may have some issues with updating the software to 1.21

Easiest way to tell is by their websites, all 3 look almost identical save for a colour scheme change (Ozgameshop is blue instead of red, Zavvi is green instead of blue)

anyway, i ordered the killzone 2 from dvd.co.uk 2 days ago,b'cos it is cheaper than from base.
The UK version works fine in Australia. You just need to change the region in settings. Some rural areas don't get one of the 'waves' like UHF (or similar) and therefore don't get SBS/ABC - read that somewhere.

No, they are not making PlayTV 2 and if they do it will be for UK only for there HD Channels. We will just get a update :)

bought a dual shock 3 controller! Hopefully it's not one of those fake one on ebay which really look like real one.
Make sure it's dualshock 3 and says Sony, you shouldn't have a problem. Now that Sony has blocked some USB accessories, the low price gives most fakes away, who flog the controller as sixaxis
actually the fakes has sony and dualshock 3 written on it too, you can only really tell the difference when you hold the controller and play it, and some button feel weird. Ozgameshop won't sell the fake ones right?
A company like this shouldn't sell fake ones. and like skyl said, you can't tell you get it - I had the unfortunate experience of getting a fake on ebay :(

I got my play tv within a week with this deal - thanks! Upon install you choose "other country", once complete you do the update and it then let's you choose Australia. Works perfectly! $25 cheaper than any I've seen on eBay.
I also bought a wired ps3 controller from buyincoins on eBay for $8.80 for my nephews when they come over. It works, sticks are a little stiffer, all buttons work fine.
