If the first letter of your name starts with a letter between "A" and "F" and the outside temperature is about 23 degrees, about 5 minutes - but only if you clicked on Pay it with your left eye closed. Just found something.
If I go to Purchase History, then the Order Details of my gift voucher purchase, I can look at the 'Postage Details' even though it already states it'll be sent via email.
Under here, I have an 'On It's Way' that's ticked, as well as the 'Emailed' box that's not yet ticked. I can also contact the seller (being "paypal-digital-gifts") where it says the expected delivery date is the 30th of Sep.
That gives them leeway of a week to email codes out after the purchase date.
This is getting really frustrating, I can pay with ebay for other items but just when trying to purchase with paypal for this i get error 'We can't process your payment. Please select a different payment method or check your payment details including your billing address.'
I dont get this with any other sellers via paypal.

I can't get it to work too and I've even tried to create a new PayPal account. Frustrating!
Same boat as you guys but tried using another browser on another computer and it worked for me. 4 days and a bloody lot of luck. Paypal were useless with any help.

Would you mind sharing the browser you used? I've tried both Chrome and Firefox, going to try Edge next.Safari but I think its a bit of luck. Tried like 200 times over 4 days. Maybe worth erasing history and cookies etc.. Good luck!

Thanks. On edge I managed to get to another page to finalise payments, and then requires me to log into Paypal again thereby repeating the whole process.I'd take it as progress though.
I was having the same issue, jumped on the online chat on ebay and the person advised that there was a technical error, they said it had been fixed on their end and to clear browser cache and wait 24 hours. I did that and the next day it worked. I would advise for those having this issue to contact them on chat.
I did the same, was assured the code would not expire, and lo and behold it expired at midnight.

Has this offer expired? I still see just under 6 days left on this link: https://www.ebay.com.au/rpp/sales/PPDG-Sep-eBay-Gift-Card-22… but the mention of the discount under the buy now buttons on the actual gift card page is no longer there. When I try to add to cart and apply, it says that the code has expired T_T

Is it worth holding out a day or two to see if it goes back up? Because on the listing it says 27days left??
I spoke to Ebay and they said they took the code off due to all the issues they've had with it. The technical team is still working on it hence no estimates on when the code will come back.
Well I hope they fix it before tomorrow, because I want to use it with the PHOME20 code :(

Is there some sort of trick I'm missing to use your existing Paypal account with a new eBay account? Everytime I try and log into Paypal from the new ebay account it just tells me my credentials are incorrect ("Check your entries and try again.").
I've been trying for a couple of days now :(
You need to chat with Ebay and they will add your name to a list of people they are fixing the issue for.
FWIW, I created a new Paypal account as I had originally suspected the issue to be with my old Paypal account which I first created overseas. But it did not help but at least it rules out one other factor.
So what do you guys think the issue is?

Ok, I got it to work. Here are my steps:
- Open Microsoft Edge, clear all your cookies and log in to Ebay
- Check out the gift cards
- DO NOT enter the coupon code
- Log in to your Paypal account first, and link it to your Ebay account. It should go through and bring you back to the checkout page
- Enter the coupon code
- SUCCESS

Also purchased and paid via PayPal, no issues. I did use the eBay Android app, and also used PayPal balance - maybe they made some difference to the issues others faced
After 4 straight days of trying to get this, numerous attempts, 2 calls to PayPal and 1 call to eBay, this magically just worked this morning.
In retrospect I don't think the time and hassle was worth $50 savings, but that's bargain hunting for you.most of the time, ozb-ing is about the thrill, to get adrenaline flowing faster.
not about $, because people forgot you spend time to get few $ less.
sometimes the time you spent are LOTS - ie running to officework, arguing with jbhifi staff, spent hours checking which store has stock, making phone calls, checking comments on ozb, etc etc.
and guess what?the following few weeks, the same item sold everywhere at slightly cheaper….
or… you dont really use the item so much and ends up in the drawer…
or… it was actually price error and you got refunded….

I was fortunate enough to get my cards with the full codes,
but imagine for those that didnt realise the codes were short and had a look in a few months time to find they had wrong codes, and imagine contacting ebay support to try and get it rectified,

I have a few gift cards with balances left on them from a f ew months ago,
I check the balance and they've all gone,spoke to 5 different reps, just keep getting stupid answers, like , oh we cant check balances,
we cant give yoiu breakdowns,1 staff has given me the breakdowns, and the totals dont even add up, eg purchases of $40, $20, $10, balance $0 ($100 card)
I even follow up with that staff member, and now im not getting a reply

So using my wifes ebay, but my paypal. Code works, log into paypal and get 2FA code, then it kicks me back out to log into paypal again (if i do the new 2fa code fails). No error code at all.
What details in the accounts have to match?
Is anyone still having issues with the Gift Cards..I purchased 2 gift cards and only received a link to 1…i sent a message to the seller and got no response so escalated to EBAY. The response to EBAY from the seller was they sent out 2 links and i accessed both…which is complete lie because i was only sent a link to 1. EBAY say there is nothing more i can do and to lodge a claim with PAYPAL?

GST is only added when you purchase an item located overseas (explained by scrim). A few overseas sellers like QD have ‘changed’ their location to avoid this. So no, not all purchases have a 10% GST charge unless you’re purchasing from a store which was already charging you GST (e.g. TGG, Target, OW etc.)
qd_au did charge GST. It was on my invoice.
Was this purchased after they changed their location to NSW? They previously had every item listed as coming from Taiwan which had resulted in a gst charge. As far as I can see for most products, their prices are quite similar to the ones they had prior to changing their location, so they don't appear to have increased their prices by 10% either.

After changing my region back to AU from USA I was able to purchase another 5 pn my second account.
Received codes within 10 minutes.that's a great hack. I am still waiting to receive the codes 1 and half hour before. Once I do get it might use your hack to buy more

@lokesh7: Ozbargain has a limit for number of comments by new account (ie me). I got mine soon after yours and thankfully got what I wanted. I think the codes don't expire so you just have to wait for the next deal.

I had changed to US a while back to take advantage of the 15% off USebay posted a couple of months back.
So today I changed back to AU location and it worked straight away, where before I was getting errors.
Still getting the "Something went wrong. Please try to check out again." error message.
Spoke to eBay via Live Chat who tried a few workarounds with no success. She did give me a $10 voucher that I can use on anything which is nice but not the gift cards I want!!

and to wait 48-72 before trying again.After calling them I tried about 30-40mins after and everything went through fine.
I am already on a list since yesterday.
I did also clear my browser cache before the successful attempt.
@Stato: I've tried 3 different browsers, I've tried the eBay phone app, I've tried using a VPN, a different computer, etc. Nothing seems to work!
