  • Good Deal, bought the FC2 during X'Mas hasn't touch it yet. I should have bought this instead.

  • and for once its not far cheaper to buy it from the US! YAY!

  • +5

FC2 blew chunks IMHO. You clear out base, drive 1km, turn around and when you get back to the base it is fully repaired with exactly the same men defending it….

    AC is good

Have never played the other two but haven't heard good things about them.

Worth it just for AC and maybe you'll like the rest…

    • +2

      Duh, reinforcements! ;P
and what better way to reinforce a base with people that are the same!

    • +4

The bus helped a lot though.
You skip enemies and you arrive there instantly.
Who would've thought of taking public transport through a warzone could be so efficient!

  • Really good deal.

    AA (Acronym Alert)

I want it for CoJ:BiB mostly as the demo was great.
I already have FC2 on PS3 (as GWH says clearing out checkpoints every 2 minutes gets tiresome and IMO almost ruins an otherwise brilliant game). Nice to be able to play multiplayer with M+KB though.
Unlike GWH though I hated AC and ended up selling it. This is a good way to give it a 2nd chance.
R6V2 I've played through already but it was good enough that I'd play it again.

    • +2

R6V2 is a great game for small LANs playing coop terrorist hunt.

    • If BiB is even close to the original in terms of story, quality, EVERYTHING, then it should be a great game. CoJ was an epic game IMO, enjoyed it from start to finish.

If I hadn't already finished 3/4 of this pack, I'd grab it. =]

Here are the Metacritics scores for all four games:

      AC - 79/100
      CoJ:BiB - 78/100
      FC2 - 85/100
      R6V2 - 78/100

Not excellent, but not too bad either, and great value if you were after one or two of the games in the pack (which I was!)

      • +2

Those scores are pretty high. I think it is a great package of games.

      • +1

strange how FC2 is rated the highest of the bunch, i'd thought it woudl be the lowest

        • +1

Agree - just goes to show you can't rely on metacritic.

  • +1

If only I can buy some time. Stupid uni!

  • CoJ:BiB looks like a bit of fun. I'm buying it. :)

  • +5

    Yo all,

Buying from steam, do they offer free shipping to Oz?
    ta

      -insert technologically-impaired-duck.jpg-

    • +3

Yea mate, it's always free shipping…it's digital download :)

  • Y'know, even for that price, i wouldn't do it. None of these games alone are worth the going price. Why pay anything for 4 games that you're going to just own, and not play and love?

They're above average games. But they're not great. And anything less than great is not worth your time.

    • +1

I'd argue that they're actually worth playing but come on it's $13 for four full content games. What else can you get for that, lunch or a movie ticket?

      • -2

You wanna pay $13 to literally waste hours of your life? Be my guest.

And I am a gamer from way back. I just choose to waste my life playing games that are great, vs games that are just ok.

But more power to ya. The graphics will be very nice. And Assasins Creed has some good moments. But the sequel is far superior.

        • +2

Wasting your life? You could say that with gaming in general. Just because you think they're crap doesn't mean everyone else will.

        • Sorry. I didn't mean it to sound that harshly. But it's not just my opinion. Check out these games metacritic ratings. They're just not that great.

I have soooo many games in steam now, so I've become really discerning when it comes to purchases. And hey, $12.50 is still $12.50 y'know?

But if you do get them, then I hope you enjoy them.

    • +2

I'm not sure that you're the best judge of what's worth my time. I bought these, because I'll play them and enjoy them and they're easily worth $13 to me.

  • Awesome deal, I just wish that valve didn't disable my account last night! :( Knowing steam support that means my account will be re-enabled next week. grrr. Kinda sucks not being able to play any of my 176 games, also sucks that I can't make it 180 from this deal.

Other than that, it's a great deal.

    • Just curious, why did it get it disabled?

    • Not sure if it would work, but I think you could get a friend to gift it to you and then you could claim it when your account is enabled.
