Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Green Switch Gaming Keyboard $84 Delivered @ Treasure PC eBay

PHOME20

I just found this deal. With my understanding, it seems that the price is not bad for "Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Mechanical Green Switch", which is comparable with CherryMX blue switch.

  • Beaten by 1 sec…. I am using Vodafone 4G…..

  • I wish I needed a new keyboard right now. So many keyboard deals popping up.

    • any corsair deal?

  • I am using Asus Cerberus gaming keyboard (not merchanical) just wondering whether worth to upgrade?

    • -1

These things are loud. I just changed from a Blackwidow Ultimate to a Roccat Horde Aimo with what they call 'Membranical' keys. They are half-height membrane keys with a tactile response. Really nice to type on. Its RGB too if you care.

    • +1

It's difficult to say if it's worth it because people prefer different things, some even prefer the feel of membrane keys compared to mechanical, and whether it's worth it to "feel" better when controlling things - or there may be genuine improvement when changing.

But generally speaking people prefer mechanical switches.

  • I have the yellow switches, they are great.

  • +1

Great keyboard, bought this back in July for a similar price. The only negative is the green switches are quite loud.

    • +1

That's why I went yellow (also speed). Orange is the best choice for tactile and silent(ish) though.

Also found this, is this a good deal? $136 delivered

    • That is a good deal for that model, it does not mention the switch type in the ad, but it is also green switch. I would go with OPs model over this one because it is dust and water resistant and the model you have posted has a metal casing, which would irritate me. It does have Chroma which is cool.

  • is it waterproof please?

    • Gaming setup in the bath?

      • Easy and fast cleaning. Hygiene issue mate

    • It claims to be dust and water resistant.

  • Is this the one you can hook up with Hue lights to change colours?

    • Only the keyboard models with Chroma in their name hook up to the hue change thing. I have my mouse, mouepad and keyboard in sync, its looks awesome at night.

      • Thanks, so its worth getting the whole kit, mouse, mousepad and keyboard? or will keyboard be enough?

        • The mousepad is definitely OTT, the mouse is a great, highly customisable.

I have used one of these for the last 12 months and I am very impressed with responsiveness, shorter key stroke, etc but the biggest plus for me is that they have half the profile height of most mech K/b"s.

  • Been using for over 12 months. Incredible keyboard. Fantastic feedback and great for long typing sessions and gaming.
