Was looking for a portable hard drive and found this.

With 10% off giftcards it comes down to $144.20. Seems like a decent price for a hhd at $36/TB.

Allow me to give the usual warning that the USB controller is hard-wired into the WD drives, so if that dies you run the risk of losing access your data or paying a lot of money for a professional to recover it for you. Means they're not shuckable either.

I use this for extra space on my Xbox One, the data isn't valuable so if it dies it isn't the end of the world. Fast + turns itself off when the xbox is off too since it's bus powered.

Speeds good for the purpose too. Been great over the past 1.5 years for me!
