I don't see the point if the free version has no downside for my surfing habits, that's all. Same as I wouldn't pay for the oxygen i breathe. If others feel like doing it, good on them :D.

@denwol: Couldn't find the download link either, also seems they are phasing out the free version, it now comes up with a popup at the start that it won't be around much longer.
The free version is very slow.

Tell your friend please that it's all ddl or streaming these days, nobody uses torrents anymore. I don't even think it's possible even with the paid version because cyberghost blocks the torrent ports.

I have this sub, its pretty good. U can split the cost with friends/family, if u wanted to as divided by 5 for the number of devices. NordVPN is apparently supposed to be good too, i think they have a similar deal. If you do use a VPN, u should always do a DNS leak test before searching, just in case.
Don't think it's a flash sale. They are using a scarcity countdown timer to make you think the sale only lasts for 24hrs, and the timer also resets if you use a different browser or just go incognito
