I'd say it's like for new subs only. I get the message "You are not able to purchase this product for the following reason(s):
    You already own PlayStation®Plus"

    • Thanks for confirming.

Anyone with an expired subscription that can try?

Where does the title say that?

  • I've never had ps+ as don't play online games, however are the free monthly games yours to keep or only for the month?

    • +7

Keep as long as your subscription is active.

If you do let it lapse, if you resubscribe, they’re yours again.

PS Plus SEA ~$44 AUD. Used to be cheaper, but due to weak AUD currency and GST (offgamers charge GST now thanks to our government). For $15 AUD difference, it would probably be better to get this one (AU membership).

The SEA free games can be different to AU free games. Also, quite a number of free games included swap O (circle) and the X buttons, which can be a bit annoying. You also need to create an account in SEA region to use it.

    • you just need a SEA account to purchase it then set that account as primary and play on your Aussie account as usual. I would suggest to go this route if you dont care about your existing PS plus games and only care about Multiplayer.

  • Hopefully the annual black Friday sales don’t disappoint cos that’s what I’m holding out for:

  • Mine's expired, might resubscribe or perhaps wait for the holiday season.
    Hmm ;(

+ve to you for being super active for gaming contribution ^O^

  • Thanks you kindly.
Glad I held out and last day of the month too :D
Now to fire up and get the games on the month.

  • Not working for me, seems to want a 10 digit code and my subscription expired 10 days ago.

    • Working now, just needed to update credit card details on my ps4 console. Thanks for the share.

  • Anyone know when this deal expires.. I’ve got 1 month left on my subscription.

    • T&C's says "Until Stocks Last".. mine expires on October 9th so I hope at least for another 10 days!

  • Nice, thanks!

Had some PS Store credits from the Coles 20% off before so was waiting for a deal like this :)

  • I have a UK region account from when I moved to Au. The PS+ sub stopped auto renewing about a year ago. This deal appears to be available on UK store too (works out $7 more expensive). Is there any other benefit to me registering a new AU account other than that saving? It seems a lot of hassle to have multiple accounts for each region.

    • It's not a lot of hassle. You just need to setup a new AU account, make it the primary account, then all the other accounts can get the PS Plus network benefit. You will need to download free games from the AU account I think.

I have an AU account (which I use most often), a SEA one (cheap PS Plus) and an US one (they do have cool discounts on US PS Plus stores sometimes). If you want to save $$$, multiple accounts is the way to go.

      • Would have been great if Cloud Saves would've worked on multiple accounts too, as I normally play with my US account and if I buy PS Plus using my AU account, I can't use cloud saves on US account.

However, It is ridiculous to have cloud saves only when you purchase PS Plus. Xbox, on the other hand, provide free cloud storage for your games saves, game clips and screenshots.

  • Anyone have an idea of how often this deal is offered (my impression is quarterly)? Have some single player offline games to play through, could jump on board at the next sale or two.

  • Can you buy this using playstation store wallet tops up? E.g https://www.jbhifi.com.au/playstation-4/playstation-store-wa…

I got some jb hi fi vouchers to burn

    • Yes

  • So tempting, as my subscription expired a couple of years ago.

However, early next year will be my 10 year PSN anniversary, and I want (but obviously don't really expect) my own special price, lol!

I can be a little ridiculous at times..

  • Not available for purchase - I might hold out until my PSN expires on the 12th and try again haha!

  • My first year of PS Plus membership ends on the 4th of November. If I renew now, do I lose a month?? Or will the 12months sit there on my account and then renew for the extra 12months on the 4th of November??

    • Normally PS Plus stacks, but comments here suggest this deal isn't for existing customers, so you need to wait for your sub to lapse.

  • Does anyone know whether I can sign up now to a 14-day trial, and purchase this now, and they will stack? Or will the fact that I am in the 14 day trial mean I have an active subscription, therefore not eligible?

    Thanks.

    • Hey did U try this out? How did it go?

      • Nah it didn't work. I am currently on the trial. I need to wait for the trial to finish before buying it.

        • Alright thanks. Hmmmm do i risk this deal being around in 14 days..

          • @chriise: Guess we are both too late. It has now expired :S

            • @higgalls: you win some you lose some.. i only really wanted that yakuza game next month on ps+… otherwise i am happy playing RDR2 single player, probably until xmas… then there will be a new deal :)

              • @chriise: Yeah I have preordered RDR2 as well. I also got Black Ops 4, so really need PS+. Might just pay for a month at a time until a good deal comes out hopefully by Christmas.

  • I cannot make the purchase and I don't have an active membership. I used their 2 days trial back a few months ago.
