I was just hunting down some cheap mash potato (to gauge making it myself vs time vs costings) and for some reason this flew across my screen!
Pure Sky Peppercorn & Pesto Butter Blend 250g for $1!!! Was $5!!! I've bought the garlic and chive and found it quite nice, it is quite a strong flavour so I generally use it to season my food during cooking. Either way, damn good deal if your heavily into your cooking.
It's a good price but even the Pure Sky website does not disclose the percentage of butter.
Noticed the absence of details also on Woolies site - usually a sign it may be low.
That's why I investigated. The word 'blend' covers a multitude of sins.
It is very peppery for those that like a little bit of heat!

If you have a decent blender look at mashing cauliflower as an alternative. It’s a bit lighter but better for you. Don’t try to blend mashed potato, apparently it comes out like clag.
Why would you try to blend mashed potato? It's already mashed?
“Mash” them in the blender, rather than by hand. Easier and no lumps. Can’t do it with potatoes though.

Searching "Pure Sky" only shows Pure Sky Roasted Garlic & Chive Butter Blend 250g as available @$5.
But available in first Sydney store I tried online. So others may be more fortunate.
