Citizen Satellite Wave Watches

In as little as 3 seconds, watches with satellite wave technology receive a GPS signal that adjusts to new time zones with amazing speed and ease. With coverage across 40 of the existing UTC standard time zones, watches with satellite wave technology ensure the most accurate time in any conventional watch. SATELLITE WAVE GPS watches feature Satellite Wave function. Satellite Wave captures position data and a time signal from GPS satellites orbiting in space to automatically adjust time and date. Your GPS watch will display the precise time wherever you are on Earth, as long as there is open sky above you. The CC9015-54E receives both location and time signals, and is therefore able to ascertain where you are and the correct time at your location.

All watches contain Eco-Drive technology. Never change a battery. Imagine… A timepiece that never needs a battery change and will run forever. Citizen Eco-Drive technology converts natural and artificial light sources into energy. It recharges continuously in any kind of light to run forever.

Good post but to me so much green spent on A citizen or seiko seems very hard to put down. I personally would put it on a Swiss automatic. To each his own.

    • Wow everyone downvote this guy ⬆️ for offering his opinion!

      • I've helped balance it out.
        +1 for swiss automatic

    • +1

I have "quality" (Omega and Tudor) automatics but I don't see why there is a hesitation paying the cost for a great watch.

In the same way that you're paying for exquisite craftsmanship, here you're paying for absolute top end electronics combined with excellent build and materials. This is not mentioning the fact that these watches are effectively maintenance free and set their own time.

Apart from the fact that it has GPS timekeeping, the accuracy of the quartz movement (+/- 5s per month) means it is a High Accuracy Quartz.
