Interesting, cashrewards and shopback definitely allow cashback when redeeming a gift card with DJs, but yep Apple is excluded.
Cashrewards already changed term "Cashback may not be payable if a gift card is purchased or used for payment.", along with Myer.
You may still able to get cashback but if you have any issue and submit a ticket to cashrewards they will reply you because you used gift card bla bla.
