Just about to finish europtrip and bought two of the 3 UK sims with 12gb data for around about $35 also from this seller.

Pretty happy with the service, sims arrived quickly and were already activated on the specified date when I wanted to use them. The reception was a bit dodgy is some areas but that’s more to do with the local networks rather than 3 UK/the sim/the seller.

Overall good value for money, convenient and worked well most of the time.

Is there much difference in network coverage between O2 and 3 roaming in the EU?

All countries i'm visiting are covered by both carriers, but just wondering if one delivers more reliable coverage wherever I go outside of the UK.

The entire 8GB can be used in any of the 49 destinations,
In specific Spain and Portugal would not be a problem.

So you can use the entire data with no caps, as well as the entire texts and calls within the EU.

Quick feedback - i used the 6gb O2 bundle in August-September while travelling around Austria, France, Poland, Slovakia and Czech republic. No issues whatsoever, after couple of days in each country you figure out which network is more reliable and offers better data speeds and coverage, then i would just change roaming network selection from Auto to Manual to stay with the preferred network.

Just a word of caution about voice calls - calls back to Australia from the UK or EU CANNOT be made. Only voice calls between EU countries.
