Hi just saw this awesome deal for highly popular Batman statue on horse.Stock available on 20.10.2018 I know this deal is not for everyone but thought there might be few who maybe interested in this got one for myself too. It's highly detailed please read description for more clarification thanks.

Mounted on a steed as black as the night he defends, the dark knight rallies the Gotham troops in a call to arms.

Widely regarded as one of the top Batman stories of all time, Batman: The Dark Knight Returns sees a 55 year old Bruce Wayne come out of retirement to once again fight crime in Gotham City. Inspired by Frank Miller's iconic work, this Dark Knight Returns statue is a faithful recreation of Batman on horseback in a key panel from the legendary comic book.

Sculpted by Phil Ramirez, this huge (measures approximately 14.5" high x 12.5" wide x 10" deep) and painstakingly detailed statue is hand-painted and made of cold-cast porcelain and presented in a four-colour box. - A.D.

  Hmm, I'm pretty sure this is a reissue - the price seems lower than when it was out prior.

  Yeah looks like was original in 2013, then 2017. I wonder if this is blue or black cowl. They have two different pictures at Zavvi.

  I've got a few of the Miller Dark Knight statues. A personal fav.

    Hi yes I think it's a reissue as both colours were available black one I think in second issue this one doesn't states any colour but it might be one among them I am hoping for blue as it's classic :)

  Saw the pic before reading the title and my first thought was "Why is Captain America riding a horse?!?"

  This is the 3rd reissue.
  The second one was titled as "Year of the horse".
  This one they didn't name it anything.
  Good price.

    I've been googling on a reissue notice, and can't find anything on the 3rd reissue. Any idea what cowl color is, or do you have a link?

      Most likely blue because the 2nd edition is Black and that was LE1000 for the Year of the Horse thing.
      The main issues on the first was damages to the cape, tail, etc. during transport as they made it 1 piece or something.
      Later reissue came in 3 parts and held together by magnets like most statues these days.
      Never bought a statue from Zavvi before so will have to see how it is when it gets here.

        Ah yes I remember that on the first. I didn't get it either but had been following on it. I had noticed at least one of the reissues, but didn't realize they had fixed the design like that - that and the great price makes me want to order it!
