This so the 3 GB / 32 GB model ….
You can get the 4 GB / 64 GB TA-1068 model for less than $300 on eBay specials.

Also what could be a deal breaker for some is that this one is single SIM whereas ebay one is dual SIM

Picked up for $260 last week on Ebay specials for the 4GB 64GB. Standard price is $319

    • And that was the Australian version, not an import?

      • +1

Australian model is 3GB RAM and 32GB storage only. Exclusively at Harvey Norman and JB Hi-Fi.

        • +1

          Officeworks have them now too.

          Price beat!

      You missed out $51 here.

Someone should let Mary know her account has been hacked.

    • Did you buy it from qd_au?

  • How does this phone compare to the Moto G5 plus?

I'm guessing too it's a lot worse than One plus 6?

    • Well, the OnePlus 6 is a much more expensive phone. It is better than the Moto G5 Plus. Bigger display(might be a disadvantage or an advantage), USB-C, better SoC, Android One guarentees 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security updates from release date, ac wifi and Bluetooth 5.0 vs 4.2.

Got mine for $271 from ebay Plus deal.

  • $50 less with Amex (spend $250 or more) + 2 year Australian warranty is way better than grey import

    • +2

Not everyone has access to Amex card with deal

Comes down to 2-year warranty vs Dual SIM.
To each their own, but in my opinion this isn’t a deal.

        Don't forget 3GB/32GB vs 4GB/64GB.

        • +2

          This.

It saddens me to say it, but lower-spec'd internal storage is rapidly becoming a deal-breaker for me.

I used to think that as long as the device supports an SD card that can be mounted as system storage, all would be right, but I can count on one hand the number of android apps on my current phone that allow themselves to moved to the SD card, or at least have the smarts to save their working data to SD. I'm really disappointed that some field leading apps fail on both counts - for no justifiable reason that I can fathom (yes I've asked the developers in some cases.)

Got mine for $200 brand new in box from gumtree with invoice

I bought a Trek Hybrid bike on Gumtree.

      • How much. Sounds like a good deal

Be aware that Nokia 6.1 Plus has now been released, although not for sale in Australia just yet.

Nokia 6.1 Plus removes NFC, if that's important to anyone.

      • +5

        Bit weird to remove NFC

i’m waiting for some tempting prices on the nokia 7 plus …..has nfc, band 28 and is android one and bigger battery than the 6 series.

  • I bought Moto X4 4G/64G with $261 last week during Ebay special 10% off using 3x$100 vouchers. Very happy with it.
Lastest Android, dual sim, dual camera, IP68 water resistant.
The biggest deal I got from Ebay.

i’ve had moto in the past and still have one as spare phone …goo value for money, has all our bands and have failrly clean versions of android.

now i have an lgv20 and updates are wayyyyy behind.
next phone will be nokia 7 plus or a moto with android one.

    • Why did I have a negative vote :(((?

      • +2

I didn't neg your comment, but I understand why someone would.
It has no relevance to this post (different phone and price/discount no longer available).

    • Just wondering if that deal was Aussy stock or grey import. Second question is does it have our B28?

      • It's Aussy stock, but not brandnew. A kind of testing or demonstration production, but still has Australia warranty.
And yes, it has B28, NFC and headphone jack :D. It's also an Android one phone, a big plus in my point of view.

I know that most phones don't have it, but then the latest Android version is 9.0 while the Moto X4 has 8.1. Sorry if I sound rude or anything.
