Why is your Iphone X Max RRP higher than apple store?

    • -1

Whilst I acknowledge it sucks that the RRP is inflated, $1807 after ‘discount’ seems pretty good seeing as Apple’s price is $2049

      • +8

It shouldn't be advertised as 20% off then if the price is greater than RRP.

Even As the rep said below:

Even its More than retail price i think customers will get 10-12% off those phones

It should be advertised as 10-12% off then. What a joke.

Galaxy Note 9 has been jacked $30 more than RRP.

Yep don’t worry I definitely agree. I don’t understand why not just be honest and do a 12% off sitewide

Iphone 8 64gb still 1 unit available in gold colour and we are going tist another 1 in grey colour soon
      thank you

      • I am after iPhone XS Max 64GB.

  • I guess the reason rrp jacked up due to pricematch issue, if they list lower than rrp or lower than other retailers like Officeworks then you guys definitely will not buy from them but using their price for pricematching :), not that I support this move but smart one ^_^ as end of the days people still get cheaper phones after jacked up and discounted after price lol

    • -2

Thank you very much for supporting us on it
As we are selling stock on breakeven just to get cheaper stock to our customers
      thank you

    • +3

Officeworks and the likes will only price match based on advertised price before any discount codes are applied so inflating above RRP was purely just to limit the true discount by the OP.

  • +1

Please highlight us some bargains. This is OzBaragin not Oz advertising. Also, looks like you have only 10-12% off anyway, false advertisement with 20% off sales by increasing prices more than RRP.

  • +2

We should not support price jacking and dishonesty.

  • +1

This is a suicidal post for not knowing people here hate inflated RRP to disguise the less than advertised sitewide discount %. Good luck OP.

I just bought the Apple AirPods for $183.20 with free express shipping. Will update upon arrival.

    • Hi yes , we will ship your order today express post
      Thank you

    • Received the AirPods today, appears to be Malaysian stock? Also no receipt / tax invoice.

Nonetheless, impressed by the express delivery and the product.

  • +2

Ebay tactics here: raise RRP and offer an inflated discount.

  • +2

Doesn't meet minimum quantity guidelines. What a load of self promoting spam but what fools for advertising on OzB the fact they price jack as their introductory offer. Pack up your one phone and call it a day.

  • +1

Very disrespectful. Price jacking in a bargain forum and trying to play users for fools.

  • +2

You have the 512Gb Galaxy Note 9 for $1799 but it is $1489 in your eBay store. Apply the eBay P5OFF code and your eBay store price ($1414.55) is better than this sale price ($1439.20). Perhaps there are some competitive items - $1,119.20 for the iPad Pro 10.5"/256Gb/WiFi+Cellular is a reasonable discount vs the Apple store ($1399), but OzBargainers prefer to see a bargain posted and not have to hunt to find them.

    • Old school sales markup tactic haha.

We like to see prices. Bargains have prices. ® © ™

  • what a stupid move from another liers

    • -1

      • +1

Not associated with "All Phone" but you seem to have adopted the same business model!

      • +2

LOLOLOL this cracked me up.. Are you guys the new "allphones"… I dont think Vishalpandi97 was asking if you guys are associated with "All phones"

        • +1

Haha yup thats what i was saying.

        • +1

          He actually was…lol

      • Yea ik that.

Insufficient stock and price jacking. I feel like these types of businesses should be made an example of to help support actual legitimate businesses.

    very dishonest marketing strategy

The last eBay sale I ordered a Note 9 from these guys and can't recommend them enough. They process the order pretty much right away and I received the item the following day. They also reply to my email/questions within an hour so I was quite impressed.

However after seeing them pull this marketing stunt it's very very disappointing.

Now that I think about it the Note 9 was only a good price due to ebay deal on at the time (10% off eBay and 10% off gift card)

Does these 3 bothers think we are dumb or something? Using The Iphone XS MAX 64GB as an example they are currently selling it for $1999.00. You can get the same phone at a well recognise retail store like Officeworks for $1799.00.

After apply 20% off $1999.00 your getting the same RRP so where is the sale?

I work in Digital Marketing so I think what they are trying to do is getting as much traffic to the site as possible to boost organic search results on the likes of Google.

I don't have any beef with these guys from my own purchasing experience (Note 9) but it's just pissing me off that people pull these dishonest marketing strategy.

    • +1

I feel like this fake sale has done them a lot more harm than good. I for one will never shop there now and will discourage others from shopping there also.

  • inflated discount.

  • +1

Got anything more to say OP?

  • +1

The complaints above might be valid, but I'm very happy to have received, the next day, a new iPhone more than $100 less than the price on store.apple.com/au/.
