COD games are dead online before they drop in price. Especially on PC. Maybe I'll never get that coveted platinum Ozbargain card.
CoD games are generally dead online a month after launch now regardless. On PC at least.
@Tacooo: hey brother just a heads up i agree that on pc its usually dead but this cod on pc seems to attract the mainstream audience aka if you look up the twitch stats the pc weekend had the most viewers due to shroud,lirik,drdisrespect,muselk,ninja.remember blackout is a big selling point on pc. in fact just on this store alone if you click on the pc link its selling more than xbox. and if you still dont believe me here is a reddit with over 800 comments and 1.6k upvotes saying they are switching to pc. battle.net is also a huge reason why people are buying it on pc due to the proper anti cheat they have. here is the reddit proving battle royale is a major switch for pc this time around it seems like its getting the hype like cod 4 pro mod back in the days.otherwise i agree

Yeh because they have Zombies, a BR, and full multiplayer. A minority actually play the campaign - I would rather a BR than a campaign..
Removal of single player mode should drop the price significantly. Also, I doubt wherever numbers you're using factors in the number of pirated copies of CoD have been shared, because 99.99% of them are playing single player only.
What do you mean by full multiplayer? As opposed to an incompletely developed multiplayer? Were we supposed to expect a half completed multiplayer game with stick figure character models?Also, there are so many free/cheap BR and Zombie FPS' out there, pubg, elysium, fortnite. The CoD zombie mode is crap because a lot of the time it's filled with randoms who don't know wtf to do and/or heroes who run off and never try to work as a team.

Ok. Basically using tautology and fluffing up a redundant point that BO4 really is JUST another multiplayer with nothing game changing being added to the scene.

Clearly you can't make the correct link with me referencing the number of people pirating the game to play single player vs those who play multiplayer.
No. If you're cutting out SP, you're cutting out development for an entire mode of gameplay.
You don't have to pay for:- Hours and hours of VA time recording and post production
- More than 2x the time spent on level design. Clearly you don't play SP because if you did, you'd realise that the MAJORITY of the levels aren't even reused in MP
- Don't have to even pay for motion capture for actors/actresses in SP cutscenes, followed by hours of processing
- Spend 0 time play testing the typical hours of SP content.
- No need for storyline script writer
- And whatever tf else that isn't obvious for SP mode development.
BR is simple to design and implement relative to the other game modes, and it's formula is already defined. Clearly with Fortnite, BR came as an afterthought which they put together in the span of a few months.
Activision are using an engine they have years and years and years of experiencing developing on.
Oh, and, BO4 are ALSO using micro transactions.

I've played every COD just for compaign so we do exist. I sure don't pay release price though. Can't stand the multiplayer.

Do not like the power rangers theme of black ops. Love the last WW2, everything works as expected…if in smoke, you know no one is seeing you with some X-ray scope on their lazer gun.
Was naturally going to bass on BO4, but then I played the Blackout mode. And let me tell you this is the next big thing. The crisp FPS cod experience with the Battle Royale hook is god damn heroin.
So much so I cannot cancel the $69 JB preorder and miss out on playing this a Friday.

Yeah same situation here no updates other than they've got my shipping information. I got express postage to western sydney. Im gonna be very shocked if it doesn't come tomorrow. However if it doesn’t turn up I’m just gonna walk into JB grab a copy and then return the gamesmen one once it arrives.

I still don’t get why they posted it. Thought the pc copy was legit a slip of paper for you to activate it and digital download. They could of at least sent me the code and posted the thing after if they really needed to :/
So my copy didn’t come due to them posting a day later then they promised. Asked them what happened and they haven’t replied.

Does anyone know the eb games return policy for PC games?
When Spider-Man didn't arrive on release from gamesmen I picked it up at eb and returned it a week later, I'm assuming you can't do this for PC
