    FWIW this is on Netflix.

Assuming bitrate isn't as good and you'd also need the 4K Netflix package.

Thought it would be good to watch for a date, but ended up being penguins getting gored to death by sea eagles.

    • No HDR either, I'm pretty sure.

      • Netflix supports both HDR and Dolby Vision, depending on your TV (https://help.netflix.com/en/node/42384). Amazon Prime also supports HDR.

Stan doesn't support HDR or Dolby Vision yet but has added 4K.

I tested Planet Earth II from Netflix on our new 4K TV and it works well. Interestingly, when changing our Netflix plan to premium, it didn't charge me straight away. Looks like it will charge from next billing period. I wonder if I can trial 4K streaming until the end of this billing period and then change back to standard?

I didn't say that Netflix didn't support HDR at all, I said that Netflix doesn't support HDR for Planet Earth II.

It looks great in 4K, but even better with HDR! Would recommend grabbing it if you have a 4K player.
