LOTs of computer and monitors reduced to 40% of the price
mobiles reduced and further 25% off on them
cameras - a slr i found for 400 dollars and lots more
could see lot of sad faces on employees

well, since its just floor stock and they aren't taking orders, seems reasonable to think that it will be just like a normal store with thier different sections except that there wont be so much stock replenishment

not sure somewhere like good guys sells monitors cheap enough that 40% off is cheaper than a dedicated computer store like msy etc.
same with mobiles
base model slr's are 400 or less at other places a few posts here this week attest to that.

I went past earlier in the week after being given a 20% discount on top of the already reduced prices just by showing the friends and family email that was pasted around at work. The place was pretty empty next to no tv's/computers, I got what I was after, the sunbeam EM6910 for $455, I wouldn't bother going out of your way to go there though. They have been doing the sale for 2 weeks….

Not much floor stock, seems to be only ex-display goods. DVD players without cables and remotes, still only 25% off ticket price. I guess it'd be okay if you have a Harmony remote which I am sure most of us do…. Staff seem a bit annoyed but they're probably out of a job.
Went this morning, waste of time. Only about 1/8 of the store open, and most of what's left is crap. We have missed the boat big time on this. Most of the stuff was marked down 20-30% of ticketed price, which the ticketed price was about the usual 10% off for floor display stock, so no Big bargains. Example Harmony 1100i Remote still marked at $899 less their 20%. Logitech's web rrp price $599 . Store closes on 16th March. Must have been a real winner of a store, has been open for less than 18 months. Bye Bye Expensive Guys!

there were still a couple of digital cameras, stereos, landline handsets, washing machines and fridges, along with the odd kitchen appliance left around midday, but i mean literally a couple, went looking for a cheap fridge and just missed out by minutes (the staff were even debating over who sold it lol) but considering the sale has been on for 2 weeks, you cant falt anyone, just unfortunate that most here didnt know til yesterday.
I would hazard a guess that the reason the business failed is because no one payed cash there, so they didnt slash the prices (no joke)
anyway, it was well worth the trip in anycase, the dfo centre has enough shops/cafes to keep you busy for a few hours and thats even from a male shoppers opinion lol
True, it was crap. Two weeks? Really? Wouldn't have gone if I'd known. There really was barely anything there, and what was there was basically all ex-demo and not much cheaper for it. Also, the 50% off is a lie. Tops was 40% off whitegoods, kitchen stuff etc.
This was a waste of time..couldn't find anything that was left that is 50% off. Everything were 20 to maybe 30%. And there is just junk left.
it sounds like any Ozbargainers who went to this sale and were disappointed must feel like Joe (and Joanne) Public who normally turn up to a sale after us Ozbargainers have ripped its guts out.
