Better off paying a little bit more for the Sony WH-1000XM3 https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/406987

Good deal, it's cheaper than the ones at costco currently. :) the ones at costco are $380

If you aren't in a huge rush, maybe hold off as based on past deals these are likely to be cheaper in future.

Kidding me. This is no deal anymore at this price…for long now. U got 350 every month now
Also dont rush on M3. I'm using it for a week now. Unable to multi devices connectivity kill the headphone.

    • Not necessarily, the other features might make up for it so I wouldn't say lack of multi-connectivity is a deal-breaker necessarily

It actually is if you work mostly on your laptop or pc. Let me tell you. To be able connect to your phone. U need to click the window symbols one the left down hand side of your screen, you then type in bluetooth, then u look for connected devices and then click on the phone. And here u click disconnect. There is another way faster may be u click on bottom right hand side of screen and turn off bluetooth function of the laptop, then all your keyboard, pen are disconnected….never mind they are auto connect again quite fast BUT you have to connect your headphone now before turn on laptop bluetooth again as it will auto connect to laptop.
Then you do the same with your phone. Then if you by accident close your laptop put in bag and seat in your car, there is no way to connect headphone to your phone now other than open your laptop again to do as above

        • I didn't disconnect from my laptop, shut it down, then had no problem connecting to my phone an hour or so later.

I can see how if you frequently move between devices it can be annoying. I don't though so it's not for me.

        • I have the M2, and I do not have this problem. When changing devices, simply hold down the power button for approximately 7 seconds to enable bluetooth pairing. Then connect with whichever device you wish to start using.

    • anything else you don't like on the new sony's other than connectivity?

So far no. Maybe a bit heavy as I study 3 days continuously with headphone on for at least 5 hours or more a day…I feel fatigue on top of my head.
