Pretty lame that only a while ago this was $269.10 + $15 delivery: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/406201

I didn't want to buy one but now I need one…

Consider buying used? if you are unhappy with new product's prices you buy used.

That was not the Strix model.

    • Well you don't want to see RRP now.. Pretty brutal. I feel sad I didn't decide to build then

      • The crypto mining market…………….. :(

You are definitely talking about this one https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/406201
Which is kinda far from an Asus strix,
I have my Strix on sale at the moment as I just upgraded with the 1080 EVGA which came up yesterday from FUTU best deal!
Its the 580 strix is a great card and I was impressed by its performance if you cant go further than the $400 mark!
      Cheers

  • This card is too long for matx, also read the newer Polaris cards will come out this month

  • Does anyone know if this is going to be a decent card to do 4K colour correction with Davinci Resolve?

Its a slightly bumped up RX 480 https://youtu.be/XMngo78LJ2A this is a comparison video. I don't think you will be able to do 4k very well on this card.

Thanks for showing me that, Cheapsize. Every decent Graphics Card is just so damn expensive.

  • Can anyone also recommend a decent ATX power supply for this card

Many good PSUs, I would go with this one

      https://www.pccasegear.com/products/42990/corsair-rm550x-gol…

I just bought the 650W one to use with my 4yr old R9 290.

any PSU 600 and over will be able to run this card,
I ran it at with a basic corsair 600 PSU that came with my old case.

      1x sata
      2x SSD
      6x corsair SP fans
RX580 strix 8 GB AMD radeon
2x LED bars connected the case lights on it too
      Kraken NZXT hydro CPU cooling
      etc etc

And never missed a beat mate not even close

  • Anyone able to tell me the difference between this video card compared to the other ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte etc.
    Thanks!
