  • these guys are number 1 for tires.

4x 20 inch tyres cost like 800 dollars installed, wheel balance etc

Whereas Beau repairs quotes me 400 a tyre Lol

    • OMG, I can get 4x 20" tyres installed for less than $600 but 315/30/20 Nitto slicks are $500 each! Lol!

What tyre are you talking about so we can compare?

    • +2

      number 1 for tires.

      exhausting…

  • Prices for common brands and common sizes please.

    • Generally this is a bargain for all tyres and tyre sizes.

    Any BARGAINS ?

    • +1

None whatsoever in Store Rep OP's title and description. Not even a single $ sign.

  • Don't forget to price beat at Kmart.

    • tried that, and all seemed so easy….. until 2 days later they say those tyres are out of stock, and try to offer you some chinese rubbish for the same price. I think theyre marketing team rang me about 6 times trying to keep the sale going

  • 4 Michelin Primacy tyres for a 2012 CRV comes to <$650 fitted, balanced, and aligned. Not bad.

EDIT: misread, that's with their stupid referral pricing. $1046 after discount.

  • Yep prices are better than local stores, but then shipping to my suburb is $150, and $105 fitting ($60 plus profit)…price isnt that good anymore.

For me it was actually cheaper getting a set of Hankook Ventus tyres with the buy4 get 1 free promo, than it was getting yingyang supa fun tyres fitted from tyroola

  • Rural area getting $80 delivery fee and also charged for fitting.. doesn't seem to be any cheaper than a local mob.

  • Man, was worried after I already purchasing through the tyresales.com.au sale (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/409634), but looks like thats the better deal when you include price + $15-35 per-tyre fitting. Also chose a fitter that includes a free alignment, so there's that too..

  • I'd recommend you do a comparison with the Tyresales offer. I paid $528.60 for a set of Winrun R330's fitted and aligned. Tyresales came in at $598.4.

    • Have you used those tyres before? Thoughts on them?
They're only $44 each tyre for a WRX, which is very very cheap.
Not a lot of reviews, but they are 79% on tyrereviews UK and 4.2 on productreview AU.

      • Recently got the R330 runflats fitted on the 18 inch rears (RWD MB C200) for $145 ea from Tempe Tyres.

They are great for the money, no problems with grip in the dry and seems quieter compared to the OEM Continentals (ContiSportContact 5 SSR). Did an extended run over country roads (around Goulburn and Kangaroo valley) and Hume highway during the Oct long weekend and can't fault it.

In the wet they are okay for normal driving, but don't match the OEM tyres for absolute grip at the limit. I feel these run flats are slightly "harder" than the OEM run flats, more rigid side walls I guess? But still very comfortable ride. Overall, very good tyres if you are only doing street legal speeds.

The tyre guy from Tempe Tyres also suggested that I should be getting 25000+ km out of them (got close to 40k with OEM), but not sure if he was trying to up sale me or what not.

      • I have the 19” R330 on my Optima for about 15,000k’s. Despite their low price, they perform surprisingly well. Haven’t had any issues with grip, wet or dry. Negatives, they can be quite noisy although, my car doesn’t have the best noise insulation either.

  • If I want cheap types at night, I shop at Midnight Spares.

  • We like to see prices. Bargains have prices. ® © ™

  • It's a cracker deal if you live in Brisbane, as several tyres have free shipping.

  • Did anyone buy?
    How’s the service?

Waiting for another discount code and may give them a crack!
