When did any IS suites not have free updates during their license period?

    http://internet-security-suite-review.toptenreviews.com/
It's ranked 2nd last, and I can get Kaspersky IS 2011 $19 a license without any trouble at all (OEM but still works the same, using 3 seperate licenses at the moment and are all fine), why would someone waste money and get some noob IS suite (dated 2010) for a third of the price of a product that's ranked third?

    Crap Product, Crap price.

    Grrr, shouldn't have revoked negbomb.

        Hi Guys :)

Thanks for the feedback cwongtech! Just to show that we're here to bring the bargains, impress you guys and listen to your feedback I am going to make a loss on the 300 or so units I have left and give it to OZB's for 99 cents + 99 cents delivery.

        Hows that? :)

        • +1

          Haha, amazing.

I think you'll be better off selling them on eBay for the original quoted price, rather than trying to appeal to the Ozbargain crowd.

We use this at work. I didn't specify it for the machines, though I am IT default by default. I wouldn't recommend this suite at all and it would be replaced at work if it were up to me. The quick scans seem to do bugger all scanning, far too fast to actually be checking (vs various other suites). All my personal machines run Avast.

    • +1

you are IT default by default?

feel free to actually pass on a real reason for the neg, other than your personal opinion and how it "seems" to you

      • +1

Ok, so i wrote default twice. How the product seems to me is exactly how i'll judge it. I have no confidence in the suite and it doesn't even rank against free products. How does ca anti virus 'seem' to you infernal_max? Do you use it?

After entering the coupon code, it said the cost of shipping was $3.74. Any ideas why it's not 99c?

    Cheers.

    • It appears he is doing it due to the PR disaster in the last listing with the rogue mystery rep

  • Profiteering much?

  • +1

Good price on a product I do not like, but another rep that I like so you get a + :3

    Keep the deals coming :D

  • 4 copies turned up today..

However, I'm still waiting for 2 itunes gift cards that were supposed to be emailed to me a few days ago?

  • +2

Hey Vladdo! All the cards were processed, if you didn't receive the email just send an email now to [email protected] and we'll reissue you the codes IMMEDIATELY! We've had a few email providers throwing our correspondences to "Junk/Spam" folders which we're continually working on addressing, did you check there! Anyway - don't panic - contact us its EASILY sorted! (include your order # sir!)

A little birdie tells me we might have more cards soon - once my hands and legs heal from crawling through the barbed wire & broken glass @ Apple to get them :P They make it so hard hehe!
