Does it work on other items in Australia? YES. I've randomly tested the PUMPKINS code on a Playstation VR bundle ($594.95 down to $535.45) and a Sandisk internal SSD ($139 down to $125.10).

This may be an option if you're looking to buy something for 10% off but doesn't meet the minimum spend amount (note - UK minimum spend amount is lower than AU).

Option 1:

Find what you want on eBay.com.au then change the URL at the start to eBay.co.uk for easy purchasing.

If above doesn't work then try this.

Option 2:

Considering what happened in the last deal, the country switch doesn't seem to work anymore, so you will most likely have to make a new account at eBay UK to take advantage of this offer.

Add random UK address and use AU mobile to confirm account via SMS then add AU address as preferred/Primary Delivery Addresss .

Tip : Use Dummy email by using existing email to register at eBay UK without creating new email id.

Dummy email : [email protected] ( just try any combination starts with +) This works with Gmail. Haven't tried with other email services so do check before you buy.

    Anyone having issues with payment, call PayPal US as they are open 5am to 8pm. I have to call them and have my transaction processed. just a heads up for everyone.

    Tried a few times now with paypal which is down and then with AMEX.
    AMEX looks like its going through then receive an email about 5-10 minutes later with:

    "Sorry, your recent PayPal payment did not go through. As a result, the item(s) below have not received payment.

    Please return to eBay to resubmit your payment again."

    Bummer :-( what am I doing wrong?

      Make sure the email addy you use for the eBay UK account you have access to just in case. The GCs are sent to your email address. I think you can use another email during checkout when you select the gift option but still better to be safe than sorry. Once you have the GCs then yeah you use them with your eBay Oz account/s.

          Last time I bought gift cards using this method my (newly created) eBay was instabanned and eBay stated that the order was cancelled. They took the money though, and the cards came through about 16 hours later regardless. Used the codes a few weeks later no issues.

          I think that once the order has gone through and your PayPal has been charged, their system will absolutely dispatch the codes.

    love these deals. have two UK accounts ready to go. purchased 4 x 200 1 x 100 eBay digital - would love some Woolworths/ Wish/ Dan Murphy cards though if you super sleuths can find an alternative, I've tried but no luck!

    I think the fun is over. Should have ordered more rather than wait for the first lot to come through danggit. I think the PayPal issues might be because they have removed the gift cards from their store on eBay UK.

    Yeah you can fiddle around with the url and add to cart but it doesn't look like PayPal will allow it to go through via eBay UK.

          Just figured out what the problem is. My address on there was the fake UK one. Changed that to my address here and now no error messages. Awesome cheers buddy.

          For anyone else having similar issue make sure that your primary postal address is an Aussie address!

        You'll have to find ones which are not listed in the gift cards category. It won't let you buy anything in the gift cards category.

        You can't unfortunately. The only way around this would be by messaging the seller to change the category to something other then gift cards.

        I feel like you're probably getting that error because of the previous multiple failed purchase attempts. Know anyone else with a PayPal account? I'd make a new dummy email address and eBay account then have another crack at it.

        For good luck maybe clear your cookies and use a VPN too, not sure how far PayPal goes with logging suspicious activity.

        Edit: Oh wait, have you already had a successful gift card purchase (and are waiting on codes)? In the past I wasn't able to purchase any more cards after making my first purchase and I received the same error.

          Yeah luckily managed to get one lot in but still waiting on those tho. Maybe that's the reason as you say. However I did try a different PayPal with this one so I don't know. Tried another eBay UK account as well and the same result. So I'm kinda over this rn haha.

          I'm thinking that the issue might have something to do with new/zero feedback accounts.The account where the order went through was used to buy GCs earlier so has a couple of positive feedback on there. Other than that can't really figure out what's screwing things up.

    Ran in to similar problems to others with paypal and credit not processing. Checked the postage address was aussie etc.

    Also tried the different colours of the gift cards… long shot, but didn't work either.
