    Yep $22 annual renewal for .com makes it a rip-off. Hardly a bargain. Other domain registrars have coupons and bargains for first year registrations around the US$1 mark.

    Godaddy has a .com.au offer at $7.99/1st yr at the moment.

    there's much better deals for .com - e.g porkbun is 8.84USD/yr

  Just wait for https://www.cloudflare.com/products/registrar/

  Porkbun, namecheap etc are/can be cheaper.

  Crazydomains .com.au then transfer out is always a cheaper option on a new domain name..

  Not bad, considering this looks to be their cost price. Unfortunately, as others mentioned, it does appear cheaper elsewhere. Perhaps if you need local support it works out as a decent deal for you
