Arcan Steel Trolley Jack 3000kg $154.99 @ Costco (Membership Required)

220

Saw this great deal for an awesome auto jack.

At $254 it was already a better deal than Ebay but at $154 its a genuine bargain.

Too bad i already spent $100 for a crappy inferior one without all the bells and whistles a little while ago.

edit: This was in Crossroads, NSW.

  • Which Costco? This doesn't look like Docklands. Do they always share the same price across the state?

    • Edited the description but it's Crossroads, NSW.

  • Is this lift sufficiently for a raised ranger?

Nvm, doesn't look like it judging from the sample.

    • Yep. Place it under the diff housings. Makes no difference whether it's lifted or not. Probably no good if you're running 35s or bigger.

      • Huh! d'ya mean Range Rover or Silver with Kemo Sabe aboard?

      • Was thinking get four and some stands for a poor man's hoist.

I guess that be done by what you said as well. I had pictured more hoist like. Lack of sleep.

        • Does look a good buy though with quick, double hydraulic pumps, bet the tyre depots pay a lot more

          • @alidli: Tyre depots would be using hoists and lifts though.

But I agree, looks good. Not much more than the total tools OEM branded ones.

    101-495mm if anyone's interested.

  • Great deal. Might have to see if Vic has any at that price.

  • Good deal OP.

Does anyone have recommendations for a hydraulic jack with a min raise height of 80mm with a 3T lift capacity? Thank you

  • What’s Costco’s return/warranty policy?

I bought a toolpro low profile and I’m sure it’s sinking while lifted.
Was barely a year old but I lost the receipt.

Will Costco warrant it for life?

    • If you have cancelled your membership, you might be able to return it.

      • Sorry, I meant the tool pro was from supercheap and its crap.

Was hoping that Costco would warrant their products better than supercheap. Then I’d buy this one

        • They do. It's kinda lifelong for a product like this. As long as your membership has been active the whole time. For TVs warranty has changed over the years

      Hi Owgasm,

Your toolpro jack might be lowering itself due to low hydraulic oil levels, and/or an air bubble in the cylinders. Do one of two things, or both. First check oil levels, and top off if level is low. If it still drops, you might need to bleed the air from the system. Pretty easy to do. I would post a link with instructions, but I'm at work and a bit short on time. Hope it works out for you. Enjoy the weekend. Cheers!
