  • How much is it normally?

  • Are these things strong enough to produce good car wash foam? I use an old Karcher pressure washer but the foam is pretty poor

    • +1

Are you using a foam lance attachement? Which typically have to be purchased separately.

      • +1

Not the foam lance but the attachment with the bottle that is suppose to create foam? Granted my pressure washer is at least 5 years old

        • +2

The included foam bottle is pretty weak- I've used it for car washing as a business so it's good enough but not comparable to buying a proper foam lance off ebay for like $10

          • +1

@mooksnook: That Gerni foam bottle is made of the worst plastic ever. Mine became brittle and broke after last summer in my hot shed.

I’ll look into a foam lance. Cheers.

        • buy something like this with the 2 adjustable knobs. Just make sure the end is compatible with your device

I have a similar sized pressure washer, and it does a great job foaming up the car. If i apply dry, it would take minutes to fall off. and i just use generic car wash, not expensive foam

    • +1

I have a similar model Gerni but use the Bowdens Own foam cannon and it works brilliantly.

      • Or just buy the exact same foam cannons off eBay for under $30 delivered

        • The $30 eBay ones don't have the Bowden's cult sticker tho.

    • +1

It depends on what car wash you're using. Any wax types don't produce much foam, try using Bowden's Foam Job but can be a little expensive. Probably next best is Meguiars Gold Class.

I have the cheapest Karcher and got the bottle from ebay with proper brass bits (https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Snow-Foam-Lance-Gun-Soap-Cannon-…) and works great with Bowden's Nanolicious.

    • cant beat $69? lol

Hi J.V. - don't know what Bunnings usual price is, approx $120+ from aging memory - what is 'normal' nowadays. The bigger Gerni 1885psi Classic 130.3 PDX High Pressure Cleaner is at $199, again don't know what's the usual..

    • +1

Normal price for the 130.3 is $299, but it seems to get discounted to $199 every now and then. It contains the value pack with car and deck attachments.

      • That's for the 130.3 PC, the 130.3 PDX is normally $349.

      • I use this. Its great for patio car driveways. Anything. Use a cheap foam cannon from ebay bought it for 30 bucks. Works great. Use it with meguiars gold class foam wash. I am sure Gerni 110 can be used with that too.

    • +2

@crashtest I hope you don't mind, but I have posted this as a deal and credited you in the OP

  • not bad for the price.

1500psi pressure washers can range anywhere between $50-100 depending on brand. The gerni being on the higher end of that range.

  • +1

No reviews online !! probably an old model or they stopped it very soon ?

  • +2

Is this actually powerful enough to clean things?

    • -1

1600psi is for cleaning "objects" - cars, bbq, outdoor stuff, even windows.. If you want to do a driveway, you really need petrol

  • Normal price is $99 which I paid a few days ago. In Melbourne lots of stores show stock online but very few actually had any besides the display model left…

    • +1

      review pls :)

    • +5

Buy this one for 69 and return it with the 99 receipt

  • +10

I have one and just cleaned my driveway 60m2, my house, the roof, and lent it to my neighbor and it still works. The Toyota Corolla of pressure washers?

    • How did you go with the roof? Was there enough power to clean off gunk?

    • -1

      my driveway 60m2

in 2 inch sections!?? it must have taken forever.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Flow rate range from 5.3-7.3L/min. Is that good?

  • I've had one of these for about 5 years (was the cheapest model at the time so i guess the similar specs to this and cost about $99 for the washer)….just keeps going. Would recommend it for the price.

Used it to clean limestone & brick pavers, alloy wheels, engine bay etc. We also brought the patio cleaner attachment…works brilliantly.

  • +1

Bought a budget Gerni (for more) in a deal a while back. Don't know about a power comparison but the fact this has wheels is a big plus.

  • clearaance

  • Used one of these for a while. Seems robust, but cleaning concrete was a pain. Get a floor cleaner attachment if you do that. Fine for a car

  • I have an older model but similar power output. Reliable washer (used it to clean driveway, backyard etc..) and does what it says on the tin.

  • Is the nozzle on these adjustments to fine needle and then flat wide type?

  • 1885psi Classic 130.3 PDX not many stock in Sydney. I went to two store and got one.
There’s another 1885psi but different barcode is $299.

  • +1

    5 Year Warranty: 2 years standard + 3 years when registered online - yourgerni.com

    Nice.

  • Plenty of stock? Or should I call ahead?

  • nice. picking this up, i need something better for washing my cars.

  • Second store run now

  • +5

Standing here at Bunnings. Trying to decide if I actually need it or not :/

    • +1

Lock in the price now, buy it and take it back if not.

      • +2

I have haha. It’s in the boot with the receipt

        • +11

          OzBargain licence approved

  • I bought a 115.3 from Kogan for $89 recently, however I think price has gone back up now.

  • Just a heads up.

There’s no “sale” or “clearance” sign.
I believe it’s a run out or this is the new price.
It was just the regular tag for $69.

Made my decision to purchase it very difficult because I’m assuming it’s an every day price.
Anyways, it’s home and what I do with it is future me problem.

  • Had plenty of Gerni's at Ambar over the years. Very hit and miss.

  • +1

Karcher K3 with home kit 1800psi is also on clearance at Joondalup Bunnings $159.

  • +1

I'm looking to use this to "no touch" wash my car so it needs to be able to cover the car in foam. Anyone have experience with this model and foam or should I opt for the bigger 130.3 PDX model?

    • Plenty of discussion in above comments about that.

  • I would purchase one with a hose reel. Very annoying packing away the hose without a reel.

  • +1

Picked one up at Mentone (Vic), about 10 or so left a few hours ago. None at Springvale, Chadstone, Keysborough or Notting Hill.

  • +1

Hundreds at Sunshine, none in Caroline Springs

  • anyone know if this will work with rainwater tank with pump?

    • +1

I use a Karcher connected to a hose that's off a raintwater tank with pump, works perfect.

    • +1

I have used a pressure cleaner with a rainwater tank & pump. The only issue is the rainwater pump will probably be running continuously the entire time you are pressure cleaning (ie heat + power use).

  • I got my one 2600psi from Aldi for $99, very happy with that. Would recommend to that extra to get 2600psi instead of 1590psi

    • Is this still going on? How long ago was it?

    • Isn't the flow rate just as important as the pressure?

  • -1

is this powerful enough to clean cars?
or would the other $199 be better?

    • +2

      read the comments

  • Nice

  • Wondering if someone who has this (or similar) can tell me if this will clean my driveway properly? It has several years worth of dirt build up (mostly from gum trees) and I need something that will do the job in a reasonable amount of time and effort. Or do I need a stronger one like the other more powerful one that Bunnings also have a deal on at the moment. Thanks !

    • +1

Based on what you are saying i would recommend renting a powerful petrol washer (2500PSI+) for the first time and then you can use this one for maintenance. 1600PSI is not enough to clean built-up gunk in a reasonable time.

      • +1

That sounds like good advice, many years of build up is a lot to deal with and probably too much to ask of a consumer level product. Then maintenance as you suggested for the lesser job afterwards sounds like a very viable approach. Thanks for your help @wildweasel :)

  • One in box, two display at Bonnyrigg, NSW 6:30..

Randwick have 5. None at Mascot or Alexandria..according to their crappy systems, anyway.

  • Can anyone tell me compare this with Karcher pressure washer, which one is better? Thanks.

  • None at Gosford or Erina to save anyone calling them.

  • According to my local Bunnings this is their normal selling price.$69.00
    They have plenty in stock.

  • It’s listed as $99 at Bunnings Nunawading. How do I price match

    • Show them the online price.

Edit: most likely will come up with $69 when scanned

  • +1

@AncientWisdom Thanks and you are right scanned and found to be $69 The price tag was wrong/not updated

For those wanting to buy still plenty of stock left at Bunnings Nunawading as of 1st Nov 12 noon

  • Does Bunnings credit price difference, like supercheap etc., if the item was purchased for full price couple of weeks ago? I bought this 2 weeks ago for $99.

  • Went to get one as my 100.3 started to leak oil and spotted the 105.5 floors stock and got it for $25 . The 100.3 cleans my drive and limestone areas great so happy to stick with the 105.5.

  • just got the next size up(1670 PSI)for the same price at Roxburg park
apparently someone put them in the wrong place (behind the sign with $69 on it )said they would honour their mistake .Plenty left

    • Nice. Thats one priced at 129

  • Thanks OP. Picked up one in Harrisdale WA. >10 left on the floor.

    • Good to hear.

  • +1

    105.5 for $20 woohoo

Any more at that store mate? Which store?

    • And give an upvote :)

      • +1

Sorry late reply, store was tweed heads but I think this was a one-off, had apparently been opened (not used though), I actually haven’t had a chance to open and have a look

  • None at Chatswood & Thornleigh

  • For those who missed out or havent bought yet dont worry pick up Aldi one at $49

  • Some one has a receipt they can post to try for a local pricematch?
