How is it do you like it?
Yeah, really pleased. I cycle and run and access to the training metrics through Garmin Connect and the additional data is really nice. Nicely customisable too and there is some limited music control (basically just forward and back plus track title. Still learning a lot of its stuff.
There are some pretty reasonably priced replacement bands around, in various materials.
The Fenix 5 has already been superseded by the Fenix 5 Plus in June 2018.
I would not be expecting any new model before late 2019. if not 2020.
Stock clearing ahead of the usual annual Fenix update. I picked one up in the $399 Rebel deal 5 weeks ago or so. If you're happy to wait for a while there will be more deals.
If you don't like the band there are plenty of cheap alternatives
