Got the following deal through my Virgin Account. They will waive the remaining 3 months on my plan and port me to Optus.

The standard deal is only 6GB of data and the Optus Sport and TV Bundle are additional.

also $35 for 30GB. However if you're not at risk at going over 15GB, I suppose this deal is best.

    • Yeah, that's why I posted this one. If I can stream Netflix, Stan and Spotify without touching the 15Gb I have no worries of going over!
If you also have a look though the $35 plan has a $5 for the TV Bundle, so technically $40.

also $25 for 10GB. However if you're at risk at going over 10GB, I suppose this deal is best.

Deals are good. I signed up about a month ago however they made some errors. Customer service is appalling!!!

    • customer service is good if you get on the online chat and keep saying no to their offers until they give you what you want

Also stacks with student 10%, just contact general enquires live chat once you have activated the service.

  • Hold off for a better deal. I am on virgin 18GB pm and with a few hundred in international calls to any country for the same price per month.

    • This includes International calls/unlimited SMS/MMS as well.
I would say for the unlimited Music and TV this bundle is better value for me. Virgin gave me unlimited Music originally but that was only for first 12 months of contract.

I with virgin as well. Getting 20gb with rollover for $32 with $400 international calls (not that I use it). Haven’t seen anything better since.

      • If you're a student, you can get the $35 plan with 30GB for $31.50 p.m.

Still does not beat the existing deal for a lot of Virgin customers inc me. $30-$32 for 20GB with data rollover.

    • agree. I pay $35 for 40GB plus international calls. Will be worse off on Optus. Shame Virgin closed

      • Also the international minutes you get with Optus are for a limited number of countries only.

Virgin international minutes worked for pretty much anywhere.

I found this out the hard way after a phone call to my parents in the Netherlands. Normally included in bundle with Virgin but cost me $1 per minute with Optus.

      • It sounds like when Vodafone bought out 3. They use to have the best deals

  • I got this deal and bundled it with Optus Mobile Broadband 200GB for our home internet (no NBN available yet).

So now we have 215 GB of data to share between my mobile and our home network, for a total of $80 per month. Pretty sweet deal until the NBN arrives and better than sh*tty ADSL.

  • anyone tried getting this deal on chat without being on virgin mobile?

  • I just clicked through
