  • Someone who has the physical device please check if the rated capacity is 20,000mAh * 3.6V = 72Wh?

  • Appears that Kogan has increased the price from $49 to $59.

    Reference: Here, here and here

    • Yup. That happens between pre-sale and once it's released. Got a monitor off them which was $299 pre-sale, and now $349.

    • So when they say was $99 on their website, they mean was $49? Kogan logic.

  • I have this, and it works very well for me (used it to charge my phone and Switch while playing), but others have reported issues.

  • Noob question when they say 4 x USB-A with ultra fast 15W output do they mean each of the 4 ports will output 15W ? Like 15w shared among 4 ports or 15W each per port?

    • +1

According to the Manual, it's 15W between 2 USB-A Ports.

      USB-A (across 1+2 and 3+4): 5V/3A

  • Anything else good from Kogan to utilise the Amex offer?

  • Output 1, 2, 3 & 4: 5V 3A, Type-C: 5V 3A / 9V 3A / 12V 3A / 14.5V 2.4A / 20V 2A

    Peak output 40w - that's pretty good!

    • Peak or typical output?

I’ve had three replacement units, all of which have the same issue.

When trying to charge a device over USB-C, the power bank attempts to draw charge from both the 2017 MacBook Pro and Nintendo Switch. So the power bank will start charging the device, then stop for ~3 seconds, then charge the device for another ~10 seconds, then stop for ~3 seconds and repeat. This will always happen, Irrespective of which unit I’ve tried it with and irrespective of the cable used.

No apparent issues when charging devices using the USB-A port, however.

does this have passthrough charging, to charge devices while powerbank itself is charging ?

I need to know this too

  • I have this and sometimes use it to charge my HP Spectre X360 13. Charges pixel 2 well. Life saver overseas when I charged this device with an Apple phone charger (via micro usb) then used this to charge the laptop.

  • Anyone know if it can charge the lenovo e485? The charging brick is rated at 45w.

    • Why not?
      (Notwithstanding Strahany's comment above.)

  • I can't see a micro USB input on the pictures? Am i missing something.

  • is the Cygnett Power Bank ChargeUp Pro 20000 63W USB-C Teal worth $120?
