1 CENT sale fares are strictly limited and will sell out very fast. You will have to be quick so you don't miss out. All 1 cent sale fares are for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays early morning and late nights and Saturday nights only. Prices based on payment by direct deposit/POLi, voucher or Jetstar MasterCard/Jetstar Platinum MasterCard. There are also thousands of other fantastic sale fares on selected domestic and international routes!

This special sale is on between 7am - 8am (AEDT) Tuesday 22 March 2011, unless sold out prior. Sale may be extended. Don't forget to come back at 7am and click on the link to access this exclusive sale. Maximum of 4 passengers per booking.

So I got the email for the sale, and it had the link provided above labeled "Book from 7AM." I am not technologically savvy, but from experience I think the folks at JetStar aren't either. Therefore, I imagine this is the link necessary for the 1c sale fares tomorrow morning. Throw tomatoes if I'm wrong! Good luck and happy travels if I'm not!

  • can you get return for the same price?? limited to Jetstar credit card holders?

    • +2

Prices based on payment by direct deposit/POLi, voucher or Jetstar MasterCard/Jetstar Platinum MasterCard, so presumably if there are other payment options other than Jetstar mastercard, then non-card holders should be ok.

In terms of the return trip factor, the wording is ambiguous so I can't really answer that for this time around, but in the past I managed to get a return fare on these sorts of deals. I foolishly paid $3 a segment though - $6 in total. Boy was I ripped off!

I've unsubscribed to the Jetstar deals ever since they started banging on about these Mastercard exclusivity deals.

    Not a deal imo.
Mods: Negate the vote if you feel this is wrong.

I approve and condone your haircut.

Not quite the reaction I was expecting LOL

        Yes, +1 for the haircut

I tend to agree overall, that Jetstar has become tiresome with their emails every few days promoting their high fee credit card. It's okay Jetstar, we get it. Pay $49 per year and get a flight for 1 cent.

How is a 1c fare NOT a deal? Maybe I should have been specific and said the ride is on a airplane, perhaps you though it was on a camel? Would that extra information persuade you?

Just cause you have your undies in a bunch with JetStar, doesn't mean you can dispute the awesomeness of getting a 1c flight!

      • 1c for the flight + $49 a year for a card many wouldn't have needed, or could have got for free … still bargains were available (for 18 mins) for cardholders if you were quick enough & travel enough.

So now we have JetStar MasterCard® Class.

Sounds like second class or Camel Class for the rest!

And I don't like it either!!

Not taking into acount the $100 voucher they have been offering for signing up, low interest rate, 0% balance transfer for 6 months, and 1% of purchases going towards more flights

        • … but I'm not paying 12% interest pa when I am happy with my 0%pa debit cards.

    • Agreed, not a bargain deal at all.

Great deal. I booked Melbourne - Launceston return & Melbourne - New Castle return for $14.02 each includes credit card payment fees.

    I got 1!

$34 for my missus and I.

I hate that website though… Poorly designed. Even though it let me select flights and fill in all the info, it didn't actually reserve the seats. So you click pay and the seats have magically disappeared.

So my son missed out on his seat and is left sitting at home now…

    this link worked great.
seats all gone now. they sold out in 18min

  • All flights give booking error after trying to put in passenger name.

    • +1

I was getting contact error. Just tick the box for use contact number for all numbers.

      • One Million thanks to you, dude! Got in with 6 return trips from Mel to Perth for $114 each with 5 minutes to spare

        • How did you do that, Perth was not included. I so would have booked that if I had known.

        • +1

In addition to the 1c sale there was a bunch of other specials as well. Perth - Mel was $99 carry on only.

    • I kept getting the same booking error. I went to pay $40.04 (for 2people) then it would add on $28 booking fee.. Then for some reason I would pay it then it would say I still owed another $28. What the?! After 3 x trying and looking to find other seats because I couldnt book, my original seats were actually still there. Weird! Anyways I could only end up booking just 1 x return ticket to the gold coast form sydney for two weeks for $34.02 return! Thanks heaps jacklynhydejr!

  • Not having any luck finding the 1c fares from Sydney to the Gold Coast.

Is there a better way of searching for them than just using the Jetstar site which only shows 3 days at a time?

  • Guys it's long finished now. You have to be very quick with these. There were only a few hundred seats for each offer. You found them through the original offer page that was posted.

Great find. thanks muchly. Booked a shopping trip for my sis, aunt and I Hobart to melbourne for $24.08. Only we can't buy much I'm stingy and got carry on only.
It must have started early as there were already some flights N/A at 6.55 when I signed on.

  • "1 cent fare is now over."

    when i click the link

  • Stupid contact error thing ruined it all for me. Thought it was browser problems and tried Chrome, IE and Firefox and none worked. Neg for the useless website setup.

  • Tell me - where people who DIDN'T have the Jetstar Credit Card get any seats?? Just want to know for future reference - I don't have one (or want one), but I would like some 1c flights :)

    • If you had a jetstar credit card there was no booking fee, however if you didn't it was a $5 booking fee making the tickets $5.02 cents return to where ever you wanted (still an awsome buy).

  • you get to be a part of this if you have flown jetsstar in the past couple of months as well.

Glad some people got to take advantage of it! Enjoy your trips!
