Xiaomi Mi Power Bank 2s 10000mAh Dual USB Quick Charge Portable Battery $21.79 Delivered (Melbourne Stock) @ Shopro

1150

Greetings everyone, this deal is back again and slightly cheaper than last time! Obviously not as cheap as previous eBay plus deals, but still a great price nontheless and the cheapest in recent times.

Both Silver and Black are currently in stock.

Please be advised, there are quite a few sellers on eBay selling fake power banks, if you want complete assurance that you're receiving a genuine Xiaomi model, please purchase from Shopro. Shopro advised me that "2S" is the official model name of this power bank from Xiaomi.

As always, enjoy!

Have xiaomi discontinued 20000mah ones? Only see 10000mah these days.

    • +1

Xiaomi 2C is the latest 20000mAh version with no USB-C port.

    • No, still on eBay

  • +3

I so do not need another one! I think I have two still unopened in their boxes (and currently are using 2-3 variously in gym bags, car, office).

I think I'll get two more, one ea colour…

    • +1

2-3 variously in gym bags, car, office

every room and vehicle should have a power bank in case of an emergency.

  • Is it actually Melbourne stock? Still waiting for mine from the previous deal :(

    • +1

We shipped from Melbourne by auspost mail service for this product. If you did not receive on time (normally for 3-7 days), please contact us at [email protected] with your order no.

      • Thanks will do

        • My never arrived but I contact them about it and they send replacement via express with tracking. I presume they sent the item via Australia Post Letter, probably some got damaged during transit.

Hey is this the 2s or just the 2

    • +1

It's the 2S, which has dual USB-A Ports and slightly longer in physical size (when compared to the 2).

      • What is the difference between 2i an 2s?

        • Both are the same. 2i was assembled in India with parts from China and released for the India Market.

        • This is also the same as a 2c which is made in China right?

    • 2s is what they call overseas stock, in mainland China these is only xiaomi 2, in India they call it 2i.dont think they have profit out of these if they paid real valued GST when importing, but still good price nevertheless

  • I bought one of these from a deal a month or so back. It's really good, but I wish I had purchased the black one. I look after my gear pretty well, but the silver one marks really easily.

    • +3

I have both - imo the black marks even more easily than the silver.

    • you can buy a silicon cover for them.

  • Does anyone experience problem charging with Xiaomi powerbank? Feels like the USB slot is loose that you need to push in the cable and hold it to make sure it's charging.

I bought the old Xiaomi powerbank and it wasn't like that, but bulky. The new, thinner one doesn't seem to work well.

    • I have the same problem on 2 of mine

      • Same, I experienced it with 2 of my Xiaomi powerbanks - different models. Did you end up buying different brand after that?

        • Bought am anker powercore and have no problems so far. I have a 3rd xiaomi and it works fine too.

          • @C3P0: Thanks, I'll look into the anker one -been hearing good feedback about that brand. Still thinking if I should buy another Xiaomi (can't ignore how cheap Xiaomi is :p)

  • +3

I will upvote even though I will only buy USB-C PD power banks from now on. Where's the ZMI 10,000 mAh one?

    • While I use USB-C ones when I know I'll need one, the price difference means I'll buy these to just keep in various places in case of emergencies or for friends/family.

  • -2

Can anyone recommend a good and very cheap charger? I've got a supposed 5V-2000mAh cheapie eBay-import can and it seems much slower than whatever comes out of UNSW desks on the Ground floor.

  • +1

When will anyone have the power bank pro on sale? with USB-C port?

    • +1

Just note that the Xiaomi Power Bank Pro, only does USB-C Input and not output.

      • +2

That's fine, it just means I can use the same charger/cable to charge both my phone and power bank.

I've got two at the moment and they seem to be bulging a bit. :(

    • Maybe the store rep can shine some light on this. That's the one I've also been looking out to buy.

  • Finally got one, thanks OP!

  • Thanks for this great deal OP!
Looks to be a great price.

Will this fast charge my Samsung S7?

    • Will this fast charge my Samsung S7?

      Yes it will.

  • Ok then, that settles it for me…

    Are you talking from experience?

    • +1

Yes, I previously owned the Samsung Galaxy S7 and can confirm that this Power Bank will Fast Charge the device.

Just note that you won't be able to Fast Charge out of both port at the same time.

      • Oh, so only if I plug my phone in, and leave the other port empty, will it fast charge, right?

        • That's correct.

          • @RichardL: If you plug another phone in, will the first one remain quick-charging while the second one charges at normal speed, or do they both end up charging at normal speed?

            • @eug: That I'm not too sure on. Haven't tested it myself.

          • @RichardL: Ordered.

            Thanks! :)

          • +1

@RichardL: Arrived today - very impressed with the delivery speed!

Sexiest Powerbank I've owned - and yes, it does fast charge!

            So thanks for that :)

  • I want one with USB-C. I'll wait

  • +1

Waiting for 20000mah deal again. Under $30 from memory

  • How long does it take to charge?

My old bulky 10000mah Xiaomi Power Bank took about 8 hours to charge using a standard 2amp charger. For some reasons it takes about 20 hours to charge my thinner 10000mah Xiaomi Power Bank 2 using a Quick Charger.

I've used 2 different charger, a Samsung S9 USB Quick Charger and also my Blitzwolf 5 port USB Quick Charger… annoying that I can't charge it overnight.

    • My old bulky 10000mah Xiaomi Power Bank took about 8 hours to charge using a standard 2amp charger. For some reasons it takes about 20 hours to charge my thinner 10000mah Xiaomi Power Bank 2 using a Quick Charger.

Are your cables OK? The last time I tested it, my 10,400mah Xiaomi power bank (that's the old bulky one) took 5 hours and 40 mins to charge with a 5.3V 2A charger, and 6 hours 42 mins with a 5V 2A charger.

      • I'm pretty sure they are.

I've used a different cables.. OEM Samsung S7, OEM Nexus 5 and they one they give you.

Could be the battery itself. Even my friend who borrowed asked why it took so long to charge.

Both it from Shopping Square last year so may be out of warranty. Never really used it much until now as I had about 4 other powerbanks.

        • Could be the battery itself.

Two faulty power banks (that plus the power bank 2)… you've got some bad luck there! My thinner Power Bank 2 charges within a few hours too.

          • @eug: Only the power bank 2 is faulty, the other one is ok.. I'm ok as long as it can charge overnight.

  • how heavy are these?

    • +1

      ~242g

  • +1

Is that USB-C input? Specs just say microUSB input.

    • +1

Nah that USB C looking port is actually the button that shows battery status…yeah lot of people make that mistake

What you need is a microUSB to USB C adapter.

      • Damn. That's misleading, probably intentional. Thanks.

        • +1

          How is that misleading?

          • @John Kimble: Because it looks like a USB-C port, and as poxy said a above "a lot of people have made that mistake".

        • +2

          That's misleading, probably intentional.

Xiaomi has been using that power button since their 5000mAh non-QC power banks from 4 years ago. Do you really think they chose that power button so 3-4 years later they can intentionally mislead people into thinking the power bank has a Type C socket?

Because it looks like a USB-C port

How are people confusing that button for a socket anyway? Are they just looking at thumbnails? The button is flat, the socket is a socket. You can see them side by side on the Pro version.

  • Ive got a Pixel 3 and I want to buy a power bank for an upcoming holiday. I dont mind charging USB A to C, is the charging speed good? I doubt I'll be charging to devices at once at any point. Looking for a cheaper power bank rather than spending $50+ for USB C to C charging.

    • This will only charge at standard rate but so what?.. it's portable.

  • The problem is iPhone supports type C which only Mi Pro has…so i want one with USB-C let see when that one list

    • As Richard L pointed out above, "Just note that the Xiaomi Power Bank Pro, only does USB-C Input and not output."

  • +1

Does anyone know the dimensions of this power bank?

  • How do i charge the power bank? USB-c or micro USB?

    • micro

  • Great deal OP!
Was looking for a good powerbank for travels and didn't want to break the bank.

    • -2

Better don't, they can erupt in flames.

  • +1

Guys I just got one and i checked it's authenticity from Xiaomi and the anti counterfeit code had already been queried.

    I think they're fake

    • What the… How do I get the code?

      • It's on the box

        • I threw the box out bro.

          What now?

    • These are definitely genuine, what website did you verify it on?

    • Curious to know more about this too

    • +2

Please make sure check Xiaomi Product Authentication at https://www.mi.com/global/verify/#/en/tab/secur , customers sometime check code at Verify your phone purchase section, power bank code wont validate at phone authentication section.

    • They've always had genuine stock, did you go to the right website?

  • Hi,
Just wondering if you guys offer a USB-C Verson? Or know if Xiaomi Offer a USB-C Charger Input Power Bank at 20,000?

Mine was shipped on 9th Nov but still haven't received it.
