        • have u successfully purchased 1?

I tried with this earlier deal posted for the 128GB, no dice with checkout…

@Bunsen: Yes, I bought one. However, your oder must be above $40 to be eligible for the Paypal discount

@Bunsen: Found the prob… My VPN was making the payments page timeout - go figure as i was using a VPN in Sydney …

Wow. I paid AUD$92 size weeks ago for this card (at discounted price). That was Aussie stock from an Aussie seller, but this deal is still a crazy good price.

Just bought one got the PayPal promo 5$usd off but some reason my new user code didn't work. Probably doesn't stack. Will Shopback reject cashback with this?

    • New user code only works over USD$45.

    • How do you get a US PayPal in the first place? Thx

      • you can use your Oz PayPal account & still get a discount

Son of a bitch I just bought one from tech.mall for $75.20 about 2 hours ago.

    • I'm not understanding why I'm getting so many downvotes? Is it because I said SOB (non-abbreviated), or because I said I just bought one for $72.50? Because I seriously just did.

      • +1

People here have little sympathy for those who bought at a higher price a day or a few hours earlier.

If you weren't happy with the price you paid at the time, you shouldn't have bought it. It being cheaper later doesn't make it a good price when you bought it.

I bought 2 for $90 and one of them still isn't open yet. The next day it was $72, but whatever. That's life.

        • I'm not unhappy with the price I paid. I mean, c'mon, 256gb MicroSD for $72.50 , that's awesome. Its more of a, dammit moment.

i'd rather not. how do you know these aren't fake?

    • +2

That is a question for all stuff purchased online isn't it?

ps: The answer is, reputation. If you're not sure, don't go for it.

      • +3

well, it's a valid question when buying from chinese websites.

        • +1

Obviously, you’re pretty new to Ozbargain & probably not heard of JD.com which is a parent company of Joybuy.

FYI, JD is the second largest online retailer, not a random Chinese seller.

@OzSikh: not new to ozbargain. been here since 2010 thanks.

i don't keep up with all the chinese companies, i just don't trust them for memory cards given the large number of fakes out there.

i'd also prefer warranty, but each to his own.

    • On the back of the card it says where it's made from. At Harvey Norman when I got my 64gb Evo Plus it said Philippines. My other Evo Plus 64gb cards I got from that eBay plus promo a while back for $11.50 each also say Philippines too.

      • there's more things to detect in forgery with these cards. they're getting pretty good now.

and HN, ebay, is local stock. this isn't.

  • Are we sure these are real?

        No it's 256gb - I just ordered one

Not sure how to paste invoice

  • This JoyBuy site is extremely confusing. I paid via PayPal, and yet it still says "Pending Payment" in my order history. Is this normal? Anyone else get the same thing?

[update] I finally got the email saying "Payment successfully made". Took 15 mins to show up after paying, and my order history has now updated to "Processing" on their site as well.

I already got a spare. But at this price would have bought another. Best deals seem to happen after I've gone to bed. :(

    • Yes the same with me .. the best deals ONLY happen after i go to bed .. :(

Mate you need to be a night owl a true ozbargainer has a nano nap between posts.

  • i have never really come close to filling up a 64g… u all national geographic photographers or something?

    • Download Netflix episodes/movies at home using Wi-Fi, and watch when out and about.

    • Mirrorless camera
      GoPro
      Nintendo Switch
3DS XL (for the 128GB variant)

  • Mine was delivered today (Sydney) but haven't checked authenticity yet.

Two weeks shipping isn't too bad I suppose.
