  • Le sigh.
Guess will never see $500 card for $400 again.

    • $600 for $500 is really not that different…

      • +2

There is a difference, 500/400 is 1.25, for every dollar u spend you get 1.25, so 25c extra.

600/500 is 1.2, for every dollar you spend you get 20c extra.

So spending 400 for 500 is arguably a better deal and value, without the need to spend more to save less.

        Quick Maths!

  • can you use this in their retailers? To buy boutique watch or bag

        • Damn, yeah. there must have been a change in their policy as I have used the GC's in the past at the boutique stores.

For completeness, here is the list of what is in and out…

Crown Gift Cards are NOT valid for redemption at any of the Retail stores in Melbourne or Perth.

Crown Gift Cards are NOT valid for redemption at:
          •Food court outlets
          •Snack bars

  • When you use your GC at a restaurant etc, don't forget to give them your signature card for 5% back. Please note that in the past the Neil Perry restaurants such as Rosetta have not allowed Signature cards along with GCs but not sure if they have changed their minds since.

  • Does anyone know where you would enter GC for hotel bookings? I cannot see the option for GC payment online.

    • +1

No need, when booking a room at Crown, they only need a $100 deposit (which I believe is refundable up to 24 hours before your stay), in which the entire cost is then payed for when you check-in.

  • Is it possible to get it as an egift card? Had a play on the site but seems like a no go.

    • +1

Don't think so. Last time I picked mine up from the concierge

      • How long from ordering does it take to be ready for pick up?

        • +1

from memory, they were ready the next day

  • Anyone know how long they are valid for? 1yr, 2yr?

EDIT: looks to be 12 months from T&C's.

    • I saw 3 years in the FAQ?

  • Can anyone confirm that this works for those that are not "Crown Direct subscribers"?

    • I can confirm. no need to be logged in or anything.
