Cheapest this deal has been. A decent upgrade from the older x34 and uses the same panel as the Alienware aw3418dw which is significantly more pricey.

        Something suspicious about you two…

          Yap…reported em , it's pretty obvious , now that you've mentioned it.

Edit: wait what , I'm just as stupid , apparently

    • We will probably see a few cheaper prices on the current crop as the new faster ultrawides get released.

      • Any info on new models release date, please? Worthwhile waiting for Xmas sales? Really keen on this monitor.

thats a fast refresh rate!! 120GHz

  • How is this to the z35?

Tempting, is there anything new coming out soonish that would compete with this one in price and performance?

The new versions will smash it. So will the price though…

      • Acer X35: 1440p with up to 200hz and HDR. I wonder at what price though…

        • Pity no one knows when they will be out it could take another 2 years before they are in a similar price range, I would just get one of these if it's paired with a good gaming rig and a 1080 or a ti it should still look amazing.

  • Does anyone know the refresh rate out of the box? Will it be 120Hz or do you have to overclock?

    • Nevermind, just saw the description:
      "100Hz Native and OC 120Hz."

  • I bought one and it arrived yesterday. The screen is slightly crooked though - it was pre-assembled on the stand so I don't see a way to tighten it or adjust it and it doesn't have portrait orientation given it's an ultrawide. Anyone else bought one and can advise?

    • I don't have one myself, but the stand is removable as it's VESA compatible. Take the 2 plastic bits where the stand meets the monitor off, the stand should be screwed in underneath.
