Terrible deal compared to the Dell Inspiron from yesterday.

    • +1

Inspiron isn't really the same as a T series Thinkpad though. I'd buy a T series in a heartbeat except for the placement of the Fn and Ctrl keys.

      • I dunno. I think Lenovo is wayyy overrated.

Use a X1 Carbon Gen 5 at work and it's filmsy and we have so many in our office dead.

Dead fan, fried CPU/Motherbard, keyboard malfunction is the norm.

        • +1

True, but the T series on the other hand has been very robust. Much lower failure rate.

        Can be changed in BIOS

  • Different product… and I believe thinkpds are better at work.

I have a T430 which is still going strong but feel the need to upgrade to this one. IF any one knows, could you advise if the docking station for the T43-o will still be suitable to dock this model? Thanks

    A good deal.
    See a brief discussion here

    • I actually purchased the i5 configuration last week until i stumbled upon this deal! Oh well..

  • I missed my T430 after bashing it daily at work for 5 years. Upgraded to L470 now.

  • Nice. With HDMI. My L460 only has a VGA and miniD port, very annoying.

  • is this with ISP anti glare panel and backlit keyboard?

  • Is the 3 year warranty for Australia only? It says "worldwide warranty", but that's usually only 1 year with Lenovo, right?

TN Panel, 4GB RAM, No backlit KB?

"up to 4.0GHz" is code for it's going thermal throttle like b

      • It's Intel's term for turbo boost 2.0

These don't use TN panels and this has 8GB and 2 RAM slots to do with what you please…
      You obviously haven't used a T series in years…

      • the question marks are there for a reason. that info wasn't displayed/easily accessible. a lot of salty people lol
