Or just buy a bunch re-usable ones and be bothered to wash them. If you're doing serious meal prep, you're going to burn through 50. 50 plastic containers just seems like a lot of unnecessary land fill.
Pretty certain these are reusable, as they are advertised as dishwasher safe.
Yes, I saw that they claim dishwasher safe. But based on the photos and the lid design, I don't think they'd have longevity.
Agreed, they look laughably poor quality ( i.e longevity) and for the financial outlay they are asking it’s pretty shocking it’s still up.

When I saw this bargain with the picture and food in the containers. I thought 50 lunches for $1.50 each, that's a great bargain!!

to be able to take a food container to work, it needs clips to stop,potential of the lif coming off.
if you have gravy or liquids in any dishes, it also needs to be water tight to stop leakage which even many of the sistema or decor containers aren’t. i use the kmart, target and big w water tight containers , typically have 4 clips and say water tight on the container.
took me. few goes to get containers that i could take to work and had liquid in them and didn’t leak in my bag (decor and sistema leaked).
the ones in the add look ok for at home use, eg fridge to microwave to table, but many people eat home made food at work which involves transport and possible tipping of container on the side.
I've learned that decor and sistema leak the hard way. In my experience screw on lids typically work better. Are there any other specific containers that you've found are reliable?
Its true. Our do not spill - the shape it designed for spill free travelling.
Even if shoved sideways into my briefcase? Eg if I make a salad with some oil and vinegar dressing and put it into my bag on its side, would I need to worry about leakage? What about soups in winter?
I use decor red oblong and round, haven't had a problem in years with these, including soups. Only times i have a problem if i cracked them or very very old lid. If only they had a sealing bento box compartment version (each section inside), not the red plates.
