          Hi mate

Are there any 6 months recharge specials instead of this 3 month one.

A month or so ago you were offering 6 months for $119 so this 3 month deal is hardly worth calling a deal in my opinion

SERIOUSLY $79.80 FOR 3 MONTHS IS NOT AN OZBARGIN DEAL

IF THAT'S HOW YOU LOOK AFTER YOUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS WITH DEALS LIKE THIS I THINK IT'S TIME TO SAY GOOD BYE TO LEBARA THEN

        • +2

          Really? No thanks.

        • +2

Token offer little value to most existing customers. How about something longer. Thinking Kogan mobile looking promising.

    • Can I buy a recharge along with the 180 day plan and stack it up?

      • -1

        Hi krishnabhargavt,

Thank you for your interest in Lebara Mobile.

Once you avail the welcome offer, you can stack it with our long term recharges up to 24 months.

Please feel free to send us a private message if you face any issues or have any questions about stacking.

    • Hi Outther,

      • Hi agrawalsumit25,

To avail the welcome offer, you would have to activate/ port in the SIM before 30th November.
Please get in touch with us should you have any questions.

  • +1

you should put the price of the small plan in the title

    • Hi there,

Note taken. Thank you for the suggestion

  • Good response to Aldi Mobile deal.

Slightly less per month with 5GB/month rather than 12GB/12 months.

    • 5GB per month is less than 12GB over 12 months? Can I get some of whatever you're smoking?

      • +1

He means the price of this deal is cheaper and you get more data than Aldi. Reads a bit odd until you read it twice or more

        • I see what you mean now. I foolishly forgot to insert the words "Money" and "but". How silly of me. ;-)

  • Are we able to buy 2x 180 days and make a year? Been looking to get my mum out of TPG's grandfathered plan

    • Hi kza2610,

Once you avail the welcome offer, you would not be eligible to avail it again (as you would become a Lebara customer and would not be a new customer anymore)

However, you can stack the welcome offer with our long term plans up to 24 months.

Please refer to the link below

      https://www.lebara.com.au/mobile-plans/longterm-plans

      • Thease offers were stackable before

    • that was i thinking…once you on the plan and port out and port back in again with 2nd voucher.

  • Thanks, had just started looking for a cheap plan with good international inclusions.

  • +1

The fact that you can stack it kinda kills the deal for me. I might as well just wait for Kogan to do a xmas offer anytime soon

  • Can this deal be extended after 180 days?

    • Hi xiangtan,

Thank you for your post. After 180 days you would have to recharge your Lebara Mobile service with another plan.

Unfortunately, you would not be able to avail the welcome offer.

Please refer to the link below to have a look at our plans :

      https://www.lebaraonline.com.au/lebara-mobile/lebara-recharg…

      • I was thinking to port in, so it's not a good idea. Thanks for the clarification

  • -1

Is it possible to transfer the recharge to another user?

    • +1

It's not a recharge, it's a welcome offer for new customers.

    • Hi foodee,

Unfortunately, you would not be able to transfer the recharge from one mobile service to another.
Please do write to us if you have any questions regarding the matter.

  • +1

Is there any plans to introduce international roaming any time soon ?

    • +1

they have been saying its in pipeline since feb 2018.

    • -1

      Hi roshanrbb,

International roaming has been in the pipeline and is now planned to be introduced in the first quarter of 2019.

      • Is there any exact date or month that is proposed yet?

        Thank you

      • +2

        I guess it's a long pipeline!

  • +1

    Hi Outhere,

I have PM you my issue with Lebara service but i am yet to heard back from you. any update?

    • -1

      Hi sydneybargainer,

      Apologies for the untimely response.
Have now reverted to the private message. Please feel free to write to us if the problem persists.

  • Great deals. Thanks.

I've never used the Vodafone network, and I wouldn't want to commit to a six-month plan only to learn that I get bad reception at home. Yeah, black spots are rarer these days, but they still happen.

Any suggestions on how I could check reception before committing? Thanks. (Unfortunately, I don't know of anyone that's on Vodafone network that could visit.)

    • +1

      Hi there,

Thank you for your interest in Lebara Mobile.
Please use the link below to check Lebaras' network coverage:

      https://www.lebara.com.au/network-coverage

Please feel free to get in touch with us if you have any questions.

      • +1

Thanks. Unfortunately, coverage maps only help so much.

For example, I get dropouts with Optus mobile in my kitchen despite their maps showing full coverage for my area. My step-brother is with Telstra, but he doesn't get reception in his lounge room.

Would it be possible to buy a the Lebara 50c SIM and use that to check reception before buying a full plan? As in, could I insert (and maybe activate) the Lebara SIM without buying a plan and just check signal strength around the house? Thanks again for your help on this.

        • +1

You'd need two sims coz you can't port your number to an already activated sim. Just pop down to Woollies for a $2 sim and fire it up.

        • +1

          Hi surethang,

You can activate $2 Lebara Starter SIM pack to check the signal strength at your place. However, you would not be able to check the internet/ call quality etc. unless you recharge the mobile service with a plan.

To be sure about the network coverage, we would suggest that you pick a one month plan and see how you like it before committing to the long term plan.
Please send us a private message if you further want to discuss the matter.

          regards,
          Team Lebara

          • @Outthere: Hey mate I sent you a PM a couple of hours ago but you haven't replied to me yet but you replied to this person who postedt his message after me

ARE YOU GOING TO REPLY TO ME AS i AM ALREADY A LEBARA CUSTOMER OR SOON TO BE AN EX CUSTOMER I'M BEGINNING TO THINK

SERIOUSLY WHAT THE HELL LEBARA REP???

            • @kiwibro: Yeah thanks for the lame reply mate you are not interested in looking after your existing customers

              • +1

@kiwibro: Thanks for the down vote @Outthere obviously hit a sore spot with my comment

    • +3

You could get this $0.99 deal for Kogan Mobile to test out the reception, as they also use Vodafone. But note that delivery for Kogan could be up to two weeks, so might be cutting it close.

  • does these packages have unlimited calls and texts in Aussie ?

    • +1

      yes.

    • +1

Yes, unlimited calls and texts are included in the plans.

Thank you for answering this for us @Wardaddy

      • Thanks, Actually I only need data for my tablet. But it seems these packages are cheaper than mobile broadband packages. Do you have similar offers for mobile broadband packages also?

  • Are you likely to extend the offer?

Or is there likely to be a similar offer soon?

Looking at the small plan initially, but have a few other accounts I may look at porting over later also.

Looking at a 365 day Kogan account that is not due to expire until end of January, so porting over / activating by 30th November would mean losing 2 months on the existing plan.

  • +2

hello, looks like they aren't going to make a similar offer for existing customers? =(

    • +2

Yes they're not too interested in looking after their existing customers according to the PM I received from them

      • +2

I'm with them and will port out when my plan expires if they can't bother to look after existing customers.

        • +1

          Same with me mate

  • +1

Kogan is coming out with some good deals today for those existing Lebara customers who might be looking for someone to port over to. Their deals with going to be valid until 30 Jan 2019 so plenty of time.

    • That's awesome news thanks for the heads up.I for one will be definetly moving on from Lebara now

  • Either some of the folks posting on here don't usually read the prepaid postings, or they have awfully short memories. I don't work for Lebara, nor am I a fan boy, but to be fair they have been posting deals for existing customers fairly often. And they allow you to stack them, unlike Kogan and others. When my long term prepaids are expiring I just go with whoever has the best deal at the time, but my wife still has 18 months of bargain priced Lebara left after stacking deals, including for existing customers.

    • +2

LOL. Negging me for stating some facts? LOL.

  • Hi Outhere,

I have PM you in September regarding an issue, but I am yet to hear back from you.

Do you mind responding to my messages, please?
