    Thanks for the update twomaos. It encouraged me to send off an email to express my dissatisfaction at the cancelled order. Felt good even if it doesn't result in a similar offer.

      Yes, I did mention ACCC in my complaint email, but actually I never contacted ACCC. Not sure if mentioning ACCC helped. Hope you get the same result!

  Well hope everyone is having more luck with theirs than me.

  Switched on. Compressor came on then Compressor went immediately off and not cooling on.

  Literally first time switched on. Looks like i'll be taking this POS back.

    Took the panel off and pulled all the wires out, then pushed them back in securely and it seems to be working again.

    Doesn't leave me hopeful. But i'll run it for a few days and see how it goes

    How do you think of the noise? I have never used any other portable fridge and think this one is not as quite as I expected. Maybe I am wrong.

    In all it is really a great deal.
