  I bought a similar 'stone coated' frying pan a few months ago. Food and 'stone' go together like shit and blanket.

    I agree. I also bought a stone frypan awhile back. Works ok for a bit then just sticks to everything. Threw it out after and bought $20 tefal from coles. If it's scratched I just throw it out and buy another. Or use my stainless steel one. Which also sticks to things, but isn't shy about being cleaned with a scourer.

    I agree too! The stone thing is just not working, at least for me. I had 2 similar pans, and they are all in the dump now.
    Buy a quality SS with copper/aluminum internal or cast iron for high heat, and simple non-stick for everything else. Remember, non-stick coating pans are consumables, and not designed for life, unlike SS and cast iron.
