      Checked to see if they have pixel defects, then if so they put it back int the box.

        Hopefully they aren't store returns they haven't had all the valuable parts replaced ,
        like what's been happening with iPhones in China.

        Well I for one thank you for deciding to devalue all your inventory so that we can be sure to get no pixel defects. When there are folks out there trying to sell ex-demo stock as new, it warms my heart to know that a good old fashioned service like this still exists.

      It can Be different Reasons. For Inspections ,Customs inspection, To verify the Accessories, etc

      We can assure 100% ( Money Back Warranty ), that these pixel phone are not used/store demo/refurbish/Store Returns ones.

      There are some units sealed but still we sell as Open box. Because majority is Open Box ( some lucky customers May Receive sealed Units, But there is no difference on sealed and unsealed on our stock, It is NEW ).

      We do not do any Custom packing/Seal to any box. If we state as "Brand New Sealed" that means those units coming as Brand New Sealed.

    Great, but 2 year old handset. Battery will struggle with pie. I'd recommend looking at some of the Xiaomi handsets with a newer cpu

      Cheapest that I've seen them.
      I bought a 'new' one off eBay a month or so ago for around the same price.
      Wasn't new. Had been repackaged REALLY badly.

          I still haven't bought one.
          I'm less keen now given that Google is apparently stopping updates.
          I had a Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 which were great and Google provided updates for YEARS after their release.
          And they are very strongly supported by the dev community.

          There is still life left in my Moto X Force but the lack of support from the dev community means that I am stuck on Android 7.0.

          I'm starting to lean towards going back to Xiaomi.
          I had a Mi4 which was awesome and I'm also considering a Mi A2 but the specs aren't much better than my Moto X Force from 2015.

    Purchased the pixel xl as a present for my partner. She opened it yesterday and we set it up through the day.

    The phone constantly freezes, have factory reset it twice to try to figure out the issue. It'll also freeze when its in standby, and then the screen won't turn on when you try to unlock it.

    Going to have to go through the (hopefully not) painful process of getting a replacement / refund. -_-
