Xev, any plans on bringing the newer version the RAVPower FileHub AC750 here?

      • +1

It looks to be out of stock worldwide so I will need to ask the Rep but if these sell well they most likely will introduce any new models here as well.

      • What can the new model do that this can't?

  • Any idea if these do openwrt and if they both do, which is easier to get onto Openwrt? I could google, but if anyone has had experience that would be easier :)

Thanks Xev! That was quick, much appreciated with the deal, Ive ordered one!

    • Anytime :)

Ordered one. Thx. Will try this on my next trip in 2wks time.

  • Hi I like the look of the ravpower filehub. I currently use a toshiba aerocast 1tb portable hdd - it has a full size sd slot and built in battery to stream content to a phone and backup photos. I am interested in the ravpower as the aerocast is very finicky and can be difficult to use and confirm a backup has actually been made. The images of the ravpower show a usb hdd connected straight into it (not through a hub) - am I to understand that the ravpower can power a 2.5in mechanical hdd from 1A output from its inbuilt powerbank? and that the ravpower can facilitate transfer of files from its built in sd card slot to a hdd in this manner?

    • Hey Mate, If your HDD can be powered by a 1A power source this will power it and you will be able to transfer files to an SD card using the APP to facilitate the transfer.

  • Hey are either of these a good option for in the field CF card backups with verify or is there another option with native/inbuilt CF card support?

    • Not built in (as far as I am aware) but you could just use a USB CF Card Reader?

      • cool, thanks for the info!
does it support USB3? how long would it take to dump a 32GB CF card?

        • +1

I am going to pass that on to the Rep for an answer as I am not sure.

          • @xev: also I'd like to know if the app can preview Nikon raw (.NEF) files rather than just .JPGs

            • @spinferno: No worries, have passed that on as well.

  • Between these two which one to buy? Suggestions please
