    Can this be used to make phone purchases (boku etc). My old woolworthes (optus) prepaid can, but kogan prepaid cannot. Every 45 days I spend the $30 credit on things, just wondering if this can do that too?

        For me, I'm using an Android. When you add the second SIM you can go into settings and select the default SIM for calls, messages, and data. It's also easy to switch between each SIM - on the dialler and SMS app you can toggle between each, and there's a notification setting that can switch the mobile data from one SIM to another. It happens quickly too, only 2 or 3 seconds.

            @CyberMurning: Oh, I'm on a Telstra 12 month SIM only plan (and got a $200 JB voucher when signing up). It comes with 25GB of data but I'll take an offer like this every now and then for the extra data.

    One question - can you port the number while traveling abroad with no roaming facility? I don't need to use the number but just want to make sure that it ported in successfully. It's because I am going to be on holidays when my 1-yr Kogan plan expires.

      Generally, when successing to porting the number, you will receive a confirm email(sent to the email address where you activate the sim webpages). Then afterwrads you can login the service provider website with your account and check the all statements .etc on it.
      If you can do the all things above, it means you must finish the porting successfully. These all processing just requires PC and internet accessing.

    …….just bought two $4.90 kogan extra large 40G sim for data using. It's last activation date is 13/12/2018. But this cashreward activity expires: 11:59 PM 21/11/2018. So have to activate this Catch connect sim before 21/12/2018. 7 days costs $4.90, it's not good bargining.

    Can someone tell me, after 30 days do I just throw the SIM away or do I need to call up CatchConnect to cancel?

    I am already on Telstra contract and I don't want too many SIM cards under my name which would prevent me from getting future bargains.

      I just sign up and the $7 Cashback is in the cashrewards account, but will not verified until Feb/2019. As for the catch connect sim, it received email after purchase. Following is the last paragraph in the email.

      Once you’ve activated your SIM card, don’t forget that your plan will be recharged automatically every 30 days. You can turn off the auto-recharge option on the Catch Connect Dashboard.

      So don't forget to cancel auto-recharge. I think that's where the "catch" is!!

    Getting an error message on sign up on catchmobile site.

    Also, the link to reset an existing account is saying it’s old or expired, but it just came through, weird.

    There is no easy way to turn auto off. The menu item they told me does not exist.

    But customer service was fast. They turned it off (as they said). Of course I cannot see it.

    Very shady!!!

      If you want to check, go to: Dashboard > Check It Out

      If auto-recharge has been disabled, it will say: You've got xx days remaining. Your service will not be automatically recharged. Turn on auto recharge. Your plan inclusions expire on: xx/xx/xxxx

      If it has not been disabled, go to: What Would You Like To Do > Manage auto-recharge > untick Auto recharge > Update > Finished

        go into the dashboard, into the number and then on the right hand side there is a blue drop down that says "what would you like to do?" and from there you can manage the auto recharge - it isn't easily found
