  • Good find OP.

  • Was $2 few months back

    Good and cheap

But sadly the lids don’t snap lock well

    • Had the same issue after washing in the dishwasher. Apparently high heat might affect the shape a little bit. Otherwise superb containers/combo. Highly recommend

    • Can water leak out after you put on the lids?

      • +2

        Yes, its not leakproof

      • +1

Generally you want the ones with latches on the lids if you want something leak proof.

Had these before. Very cheap, stain easily, lids warp. Wouldn't buy again.

    • I agree. I have them and think they're not worth it really.

I highly recommend the ones at Kmart that have locking lids. They are clear with light blue lid locks. Also sold at Target I think, but with less range.

You'll spend a lot more than the IKEA cheapies, but still good value and they will last. The lids won't fall off, and rubber gaskets make them waterproof.

  • Great for kids lunch boxes. I.e. cheap and no loss if lost

Had these an year before. Quite good.
Now switched all containers/bottles with glass and porcelain.

  • Bought on Saturday in Rhodes.

  • Mum got these yesterday. She had no use for them but they were so cheap.

After choosing 'Click and Collect', I am cavalierly informed by IKEA that there will be a 'Pick-up service charge' of $20. Is that some sort of bad joke, or is IKEA actually suggesting that I should agree to be charged ~the same (or more) to travel to their shop and pick up the stuff I've bought from them as I would be charged for them to send it to me through the post?

If that is seriously what they are suggesting, then they have completely missed the point of 'click-and-collect'; i.e., it should not mean 'click-and-collect but you'll need to pay us an extra $20'. I have never encountered such shenanigans when dealing with any company in the known universe.

    Bizarro.

They're saying, "Come in & walk through our labyrinthine store, to buy your 1 bargain item… We know you won't be able to resist buying a heap of other stuff while you're here. Or, if you'd rather not risk that, pay us what we expect you'd have spent that way, anyway." 😉

    • only $9 for delivery

  • Ughh no ikea near me
