Link shows only 20,000 points and Offer ends 28 February 2019

    • Literally changed a few mins ago.

    • Also link doesn’t say $0 annual fee first year

      And $49 Annual Fee too.

  • I had the Qantas Premier Platimum credit card back in November last year, am I eligible for the bonus points again?

    • "To apply for a Qantas Premier credit card, you must:Not already be a Qantas Premier primary cardholder"

      • Any tips on what's the best hack? I also had the card last year. Thinking to switch to one of the banks (ANZ/Westpac etc) or Amex for a year. Then try to apply Qantas Premier again as "new customer". Rinse and repeat.

Having said that I have booked flight tickets for next year with this credit card. Don't want to complicate things by cancelling the credit card now (sometimes they ask the credit card that the flight was booked on). Also, nice to have the travel insurance and lounge access.

Is the platinum card worth a shot ? 149 fee is due only on the anniversary of approval. Could you get the 70K points and cancel before the anniversary ?

  • Applied and rejected a few months back because I have Citibank credit card then which I think Qantas uses Citibank as service provider…

They still are by the look of it - but you shouldn't be rejected because of that. The requirement is that you are not currently holding the Qantas card. Citibank card should be irrelevant.

      • Unfortunately that was true. After I was rejected I called Qantas and they explained to me that holding Citibank credit card was the reason to be rejected.

        • That is weird, unless the rejection is by Qantas. I had a citibank signature and applied for the platinum and got approved.

        • Have 2 x citibank cards and got approve approx 2 months ago.

got rejected even though I do not have Citibank credit.

  • Citibank is such a pain to deal with. They have rejected all my gift card online purchases now.

  • Also got rejected.
