G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3000 RAM $415.08 Delivered @ Newegg

60

$410.72 after Cashrewards.

DDR4 3000 (PC4 24000)
Timing 16-18-18-38
CAS Latency 16
Voltage 1.35V

Best local price I could find was $485.10 + delivery so it's a $90 saving.

There is also a 3200Mhz version for about $475. I decided to take my chances with this one being much more palatable on the wallet.

I like this Corsiar 32GB set for $382.80

    • Good find, looks about the same on performance but cheaper. I'm tempted to switch and save myself a few more bucks!

Doesn't look as 'pretty' as G.Skills RGB but I can live with that.

  • Why not just buy 2 of the 16gb kits (2x8)?
I saw them for $204 each and it takes takes up all the slots
I guess if you want free slots don’t or need extra room for a cooler, but if not it looks much better with all slots filled.

Of course if you only have two slots then get this

    • Yeah, building an ITX system so only the 2 slots unfortunately.

  • PRICE DROP!
    I just paid $351.30 AUD…it's a bargain!
I sat on it for a few days because I wasn't sure if it was a pricing error.
Better hurry if you need cheap ram.

    • Damn you!

      No really good score.

Mine hasn't shipped yet I'm going to see if they can fix me the difference or switch to the 3200Mhz RAM i originally wanted which has also dropped and is now $394

      • Newegg don't price match to Black Friday deals for previously ordered like in my circumstance. Win some lose some.

  • And now there's $30 off as well.
Makes it $320 when I see OZ computer stores sell these for $499.
I don't even have a DDR4 machine (yet) but at this price I might have to buy this and slowly build my next PC.

    • This is starting to hurt now… $90 overpaid.

Tempted to buy another just to resell it and come off with a win. But I'll probably just learn the lesson, should have waited.
