Anyone know how the g304 is different to the g305?

    • its the same just different name for different locations.

  • Would this be good for a work mouse? To carry around with the lap top?

    • +1

Yes it's small but not too small, it's a gaming mouse so you can exspect awesome performance with insanely long battery life. (had mine for two months now and haven't changed the battery that came with it, At least 4 hours usage every day.)

      • the weight is really deal breaker for me. i had my G102 for a year now, with custom cable and replaced switch for both button.
would love to have a lighter version of it, perfer around 85gram.

you think there is any part inside it can be removed? or using a AAA battery but with somekind of adaptor?

        • AAA to AA battery adapter with a AAA Lithium battery gets it down to around 84 grams.

  • This versus the recent G502 deal? Which would be better? Anyone with experience?

    • Note this is a smaller mouse, which if you have large hands will not be very comfortable.

But this is definitely better for a few reasons.
      Weight
      wireless (battery life is insane)

Once you go wireless you won't go back I know i'll never.

      • What size hands would be most suitable for using the G304? I have 19cm length hands, 10cm width - would this be okay?

        • I'm 18.5cm and 9cm? if i remember correctly, My hand did hurt using it the first few days but it went away, I used to always use a G402 and G403 both larger mice.

Maybe not cause your hand width is larger than mine which is why my hand initially hurt so im unsure if you could get used to it.

          • @Axelstrife: Hm did your hand start hurting because the mouse's width was a bit too wide for your hands? And yeah, I was looking at the G403 too but I don't know if I'd like its especially high hump. Thoughts?

@monkeyoutlet: Yeah the width was a little too short but i seem to of gotten used to it to the point that i cannot use anything else even my old G402 and G403 comfortably anymore.
I actually had the G203 which is just the corded version of this first and after i got used to and eventually loved the shape i bought the G304.

Im unsure if a wider hand could get used to it though.

It's quite cheap so i'm sure you could resell at what you paid ifm you wanted to try it.

      • Sadly I need mouse with full blown numpad for gaming, so no wireless for me. I will get this for work though. Otherwise I'm still stuck with G600 (23 programmable keys baby).
