This is a really good price for the hooded version of this jacket.
it's cold in Adelaide today and I wore mine to work. They're great.
Poor southerners. Outside of work hours I can't think of the last time I wore long pants.
How bulky are these jackets? Can they be fit in a 20L backpack say?
Comes in a circular "sleeping-bag" style bag. Very compact when I received it. Looks like it takes up about 3/4 of my 17.5L bag.
Is it easy to fit it back into the bag? Or is it like repacking a sleeping bag?
I haven't actually tried to repack it, but I would assume it's like repacking a sleeping bag. It was packed pretty tightly in the bag.
It packed quite tightly but not as bad as most sleeping bags. Well worth it (I’ve also got the hooded one and the wife has the unhooded)
It comes with a stuff sack and can be compressed pretty tightly. Even more if you can stuff it in a corner of your pack or a another compression sack.
Make sure you only compress it in transit, and when storing at home find a flat place to store, uncompressed or it will probably hamper it's performance and 'fluffiness'
Also take care not to get these wet. Hope this helps.
