Especially good deal for those of us who scored free Foxtel Now base packs:

Edit: Foxtel Now APK here for those with a Shield / Vodafone TV / Mi Box:

      Hey Kurt,

Do you know of anyway to get the Foxtel Go App onto Android TV's (Sony Bravia)? Would the APK linked work?

I've checked in the Google Play shop through the TV, but it isn't available.

      Cheers, Nick

You can cast Go if you have Foxtel multiroom, or load the Foxtel Now app, but AFAIK you can't load a Go app.

For those that missed it the first time around, Kayo sports (Foxtel) has released a new sport streaming platform called Kayo Sports. It’s got a 2 week free trial. Streams all live sports fox has access to in HD and has a lot of catchup content. It’s 25 a month after the 2 week free trial.

It’s still a bit buggy as it’s only just been released, this free sport offering will get me through until they clean their act up a little

      Wow thanks mate.

Yeh it will buffer for a second goes 0 - 100% then just stops. Have to refresh the stream.

This is chrome on a laptop.

The good things are better quality 1080p vs 720p and less delay 5-15sec compared to 45 sec for now/go. Also multi screen.

Will be amazing once it works.

Can we be clear - this is for an existing paid subscription to Foxtel Now right?

E.G. I have a Foxtel account but am currently not subscribed so I won't get it I assume - this isn't really free as the title says, it's free with current Foxtel Now subscription?

The title caught me then I was disappointed.

I received the email but the sports channels are still locked

These channels just became accessible for free again on my account.
