It's a very popular game; up there with Super Smash Brothers.

Selling digital games is extremely risky
Why pity?
Physical games mean you can resell them later on - digital games you can't.
I personally prefer digital, it means you don't need to find the disc/card when you want to play a different game, but I understand why people prefer physical.
Dam good deal, even better than the ebay one because of the good game. I'll hold off a few more days and pull the trigger but this would be the one I'm eyeing.
Ignoring the gift card discounts on both deals this is 390 and the other was 340
So its around a $15 saving on a digital version of mario kart vs physical going for around 65 with the ebay deal on now
So it's essentially cheaper than buying the console by itself and the physical game?!?!
After discounts it would be $15 more expensive but physical you have trade in / resale value

I mean even if the game does fit on the switch I think you would want to buy a microSD anyway

Hoping for a deal on joycon sets as well - since my original launch-day neon pair are basically unusable at this point (analogue stick drift, constantly losing connection entirely, etc.) Makes playing Mario Party a bit of a chore (though usually I just give those two controllers to my friends I like the least…)

More or less this. My Switch has gotten a lot of mileage out of people asking me to drag it over to various parties for drunk Mario Kart and the like. I'm happy to do that but alcohol and expensive electronics rarely mix well, and a lot of people don't take care of stuff that isn't their own!

If your a Amazon Prime member their flash sale is at 7AM tomorrow so if you're willing to spend a little more (assuming it's $315 again) for brand new keep and eye out.
I have seen some go with game for $350 and have made offers for $320 just that they were out of my location.

Agree. I think Nintendo gear is pretty handy. Son still has his original GameCube, Wii and WiiU; all running perfectly fine still. All the various GameBoys etc. also. Fairly certain I paid about $300 for the Cube back in about 2000.

I picked up mine via Click and Collect this morning. They said for online purchases the codes will be emailed out within the next few days.
I ordered online and picked up in store. They ended up emailing me the code for MK8D later that night at around 8PM.

Apparantly the game was worth nothing as the price is the same. What a crock. Disappointing JB.
