Just got back from Coles who have the AA(10) & AAA(8) packs for under $10 at the mo.

      • edit: just been informed that Officeworks have the 16pack AA for under $10 - amongst other relatively cheap prices!
so be sure to do your online window shopping before you purchase!!! *8vD
      • I just went to OW taren Point but there are no 16 packs for under $10. OW staff scanned the 10 and 20 packs and both are over $10.

FYI, AA energizer batteries are on special this week at Supa IGA Vic. 10 pack of AAs for $6.50 I believe it was.

    • Good one: don't have an IGA nearby but hopefully people who spot the good battery deals will post them here.

    • Hi, does that mean you have to buy 3 x 10 packs to get above the $15 requirement to qualify?

      • yes

      • Yep. You could probably find a way to spend less (ie, right on the $15 mark) but would be hard pressed to get good value doing so. This way you spend $3-5 over and get 30 batteries.

Great, another way to make it hurt when I wii…

  • That's an ACE dealio! So gonna do this. Which game though? Either Racket Sports or Just Dance.

Edit: Decided I'd go for Just Dance.

  • whats the best deal out there on the energizer range atm :P

When you click 'Free Wii Game' it just asks for your details.. nothing about where you bought the batteries or a receipt number. What's stopping anyone from just filling in the form and not buying any batteries? Apart from your conscious of course :P

EDIT: k.. just realised you print your details and attach it to your recipt then mail it.. feel stupid now lol.

      conscience

    • Check the site it does say "fill out the claim form then print it off and attach receipt and send in"

  • So which is the best game out of those lot?

    • have already got a copy of "Just Dance" which is fun if you have a group of friends to muck around with :) I might go try claim for the "Boot Camp" or "Racket Sports".

  • OW have a 16 pack AA cheaper than IGA on clearance -
    https://www.officeworks.com.au/retail/products/Technology/Po…

Edit - Looks like I was beaten to the punch by syntax! :)

    • Clearance, so doubt they'll be marked for the promo. Can't hurt to check though.

      • Where does it say in the terms and conditions that it has to be wii game promo stickered!? You are only needing to supply a receipt of purchase during the promotional period!?

        • My mistake, must have misread. Was almost certain it said in the IGA advert that it needs to be specially marked. Awesome, even better. :)

EDIT: Quote from IGA catalogue: "Simply purchase any combination of specially marked Energizer battery packs valuing $15 or more." which would be where I got that idea.

    • So not good and not bad?

    • It appears that Boot Camp Academy is the only one on this list:
      http://www.jbhifi.com.au/images/games/excluded-games.pdf
Hence you could trade them in…unless JB Hifi updates the list in the mean time…which they most probably will!

      • they will do since you post this :)

      • tradebait
rule no. 1 - do not post the link to the excluded list
rule no. 2 - do not post tradebait deals on public forums
rule no. 3 - Delete my post so that Jb doesn't know about the rules

  • please share if there is any special @SA

How do we know that the 10000 haven't been claimed?
For all we know Broden could've just cleaned out his nearest OW!

    • Promotion only started yesterday and goes to 09/05/2011, so it's doubtful they would be all gone already.

You never know…. Broden has mysterious powers!
