    Needs some serious rewording:
Pixel 3 is $69/month leasing with 100GB or $84/month owning. Pixel 3XL is $84/month leasing with 100GB or $94/month owning.

    • Yeah was going to say these are all leased. Not really that impressive deals from Optus atm.

Yeah exactly. I'd wait for Telstra's F&F refresh.

        • You think they'll do it for the Pixel this coming Xmas?

          • @aeoz: I reckon by Feb/March you've got a fair chance. Won't expect it so soon for Christmas though

    • Yeah the Pixel 3 was already $84 pm on Optus.. or is that price before discount?

    • Wow that changed everything, thanks for advising!

  • Leasing plans :(

  • +1

Leasing should be under $59 to be good deal. Thought it was owning.

Awesome, get to combine this with 10% plans with the employee advantage program. Been keeping an eye out for the right deal for a new iPhone.

  • Partner managed to upgrade her $40 17gb plan to this $40.5 50gb plan about 11mo in. Thx OP.

  • Anyone know if Optus sport, music streaming, Netflix streaming is just for the first month or included in the whole plan over 12 months on the $45 (now $40.5) plan? If so, with the included bonus data this isn't a bad option for a cheap switch.

    • Just talked with the Optus team and it's a yes they say.

  • Keep in mind the 10% off is for the first 12 months. After that is goes back to full price. Yes, all the entertainment packages are free for 12 months, it does say that in the fine print. Need to remember to deactivate them before the 12 months is up. I also called to confirm if I would still get my $10 a month off for also having optus internet and was assured I would. Guess I'll find out when I get my first bill.
